the office has been very helpful, friendly and if you have to wait, they have coffee and snacks ( nice because it gets cold and rainy ) maintenance has been very helpful and things get done quickly. I was concerned about the previous reviews, but this place has changed.

Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Trash is everywhere, maintenance and management will ignore you, parking is a nightmare or they'll make you pay extra. Do not sign contract. Do not live here.

Deserves Negative Stars If Possible

PLEASE PLEASE read these reviews before you sign a contract with these people. Don't be stupid like I was. We've been here 14 months now and 9 out of the 14 months we've had appliances that did not work. First it was our washing machine and their solution was to have us use a unit upstairs and then ignore us for 4 months. I took 4 separate days off work to be here for maintenance who never showed up. Finally came out and there was an unknown sock stuck in the washer that took them 10 minutes to ...
fix. 4 months of them doing nothing when it was such an easy fix.
Finally got that fixed and our dishwasher goes out. It's frustrating enough to have to wash dishes by hand but ok we can be patient due to Covid. However, it's been over 4 months now and they have only come once for less than 2 minutes (this was over a month ago) to get a part number and we haven't heard from them since. Now our dishwasher keeps filling up with dirty sink water and overflows into the kitchen if not dumped. Have been trying to get ahold of them for days now and they do not respond. They're in the office but refuse to answer the phone.
Please read all of these reviews and take them to heart. You may think I'm being overly dramatic (I did when I read the reviews before taking a tour) but they are so much worse than you can imagine. I've lived in some shitty places before but this is the absolute worst. Please look elsewhere you will not be happy here.

I wish I could give this place -5 stars. HORRIBLE staffing, management, NO consumer service, this company will never succeed. Unless they change their whole staffing and management and policies that aren't even followed any anyone!! I even contacted the headquarters saying how this place needs fixing. NOTHING WAS EVER DONE. Even the lady on the phone from the headquarters in San Diego had terrible attitude. I CANT WAIT TO MOVE OUT. The staffing including the maintenance are always smoking outside ...
their own office in the side walk. WOW great professionalism. NEVER any parking available. Neighbors fight all the time over parking spots. Every single worker I have encounter with is unprofessional and RUDE. Who ever wrote reviews on here or anywhere else giving them 5 stars was PAID. Besides its just a terrible area to live in for super EXPENSIVE & POORLY managed apartment complex. Regret the day I moved in here. DISGUSTING environment, messy, dirty, not taking care of. For the time I have been here not once was the pool ever opened, it is filled with mold and the water is green. DON'T LIVE HERE. They will never care about their reputation CLEARLY.

Cockroaches in our unit, we have made them aware of the situation. Unfortunately their contract lapsed with their pest control and now they're on the hunt for a new one. But we are finding them in our Kitchen, Bathroom and they're getting bigger and bigger. My Fiance was on the phone with Tiffany today and she was FOUL.
I understand the situation but one can only be so patient waiting for COCKROACHES to be eradicated. Its been 9 days since we alerted them of this situation and we are continually ...
told that someone will be out this week. Now they have gone from babies to getting MUCH BIGGER. They have let us know they're still looking for someone to sign a contract with. We called around to find out how difficult it would be to get pest control out. And the Egde @ The Service Company that we called at 8 PM last night was able to come out THIS MORNING for a wonderful $94/mo for a 12 month plan. YOUR TENANTS SHOULDN'T BE SUFFERING due to NEGLIGENCE.
Unfortunately, I have no plan to live in this unit for that long, and unfortunately management doesn't have any real plan as to when they will have someone out to take care of anything on their end.
I have to give props to Jordan and Ashley for getting traps to help alleviate this issue for us, as we all know someone has a boss and they take the brunt of the lack of diligence CLEARLY from theirs.And helping us when they could during our lease at this complex.
They don't have the easiest job in the world but management definitely matters and this place needs a new person to be in charge.
On the plus side this place isn't all bad, definitely has some unfortunate circumstances, but the units are nice, bedrooms are huge, and the view of the water and location you cant beat, especially if you take public transit!
That being said since moving in we've been involved in several situations that are unacceptable: not giving proper notice to enter the unit, a missing W/D for THREE months before we threatened to make it a legal battle. We FINALLY got it the next day after weeks of saying "it'll be in by the end of the week". And now this roach situation. Its deplorable and upsetting.

I recently toured The Landing at Angle Lake and was pleasantly surprised by my visit! The apartments had a great layout and such a convenient location. Also, I have to give a shoutout to the property management. It's very clear to me that she greatly enjoys giving tours because she was cracking us up and put us at ease right off the bat. I will definitely be putting The Landing at Angle Lake at the top of my list!

Such an amazing complex! Everyone is really nice in the leasing office. Clean and well kept, Just my personal opinion but I visited about 6 other apartment complex's in Midtown and this is the best by far. The pro's definitely Out Wright the con's....Pros and Cons
