Uninhabitable and unsafe living conditions

I would strongly encourage anyone considering this property to look elsewhere. During the short time we lived there (less than a month) we experienced issues that no tenant should have to deal with. The apartment flooded, and the problem was not addressed promptly, resulting in damage to our personal belongings. We also encountered mold, roaches, electrical outlets that did not work, a dryer that did not work properly, and other maintenance problems that made the unit feel unsafe and ...
uninhabitable.
What was even more concerning was the overall environment. During the month we lived there, there appeared to be frequent drug-related activity around the property, and there was a fatal shooting at the complex in June. Those events left us feeling that the property was not a safe place to live.
To make matters worse, we are still waiting on the reimbursement we were promised because of the condition of the apartment. Despite repeated attempts to get answers, communication has been extremely disappointing.
Our experience was unacceptable from start to finish. Between the unsafe living conditions, the serious safety concerns, the lack of timely repairs, and the unresolved reimbursement, I cannot recommend this property.
