I recently lived here for a year and while the staff were nice, it’s hard to say I liked any other parts about it. The place is insanely overpriced for what it’s like inside. The dryers take 3-4 runs before your clothes are even remotely dry. Probably because the washer barely drains and your clothes come out DUMPING water. I had silverfish in my room quite literally ALL year, regardless of how many times maintenance and pest control came to “fix it.” The corners of my bedroom walls were actually ...
peeling apart from each other and when I later decided to use spackle to close the gaps, that did somewhat help the pest situation, but barely. I woke up to a bug on the pillow next to me one morning, and I PROMISE I am an extremely clean person. The walls/floors are as thin as paper so you can hear everything above, below, and next to you. The complex has rules about no smoking on property, but it almost always smells like weed in and outside. The gates to the community are only working about 50% of the time, the other half they are open so randoms can just casually walk in. Cars and apartments were broken into constantly while living here. Parking was absolutely horrendous.. they were doing maintenance for the first 3 ish months I lived here and took up about 20-30 parking spots at a time with equipment, meaning there were very little spots to park in. And the same occurred when it snowed; all snow was pushed into multiple parking spots making it extremely hard to find parking. Additionally, my friend got towed once when she had followed all visitor procedures and was parked in the correct spot, and the apartment did nothing to help correct the error. I also had a package left outside the leasing office door one time because the doors were locked and nobody was working inside to let them in?? Why? Not sure. But when I got home later to find the package, it had seemingly been stolen. They said they would “check the cameras” but it was never found or they just simply didn’t check. Lastly, I got sick about 7 different times while living here, which is very uncommon for me within a year’s time. Probably due to the mold building up in their vents and stress they cause. Overall, just pick somewhere else to live.

We noticed this was the same review that you left on Google and we appreciate you providing your honest feedback regarding your time at 524 and 525 Angliana. Quite a bit has changed since you lived here, and improvements and renovations have been made property wide with the change to Latitude Lexington including to all apartments and amenity spaces. Our new management team has completed improvements and work on the gates, added over 60 cameras to the property, revamped vendors and contracts to better serve the needs of the community including snow removal. We also have a new package system for the community that allows residents to pick up packages 24/7 with secure access. Should you have the time, please feel free to stop by Latitude Lexington and our team would be happy to walk you through all of the improvements and renovations that have occurred since you've last been here and with the ownership change that occurred.

My daughter submitted a maintenance request on Jan 30 and the repairs have yet to be completed. They came home to find the kitchen ceiling light filling up with water due to a leak above. There was no action taken from maintenance until Feb 6, when the entire wet ceiling light fell from the ceiling and shattered on the floor. When maintenance finally did show up on Feb 6, they cut a massive hole in the ceiling and left a giant dehumidifier running. A month later they finally came back to ...
patch the hole. They left all their tools, the dehumidifier, and wires hanging from the ceiling. In other words, almost 3 months later, the repairs have not been completed. As a result of the dehumidifier running, the utility bill for this 2 bedroom apartment is over $300!!!!! In addition to this chaos, my daughter received a letter regarding renovations that are to be completed next week. She has been given specific instructions for each day of the week regarding removal of all her belongings so the renovation can be completed each day. She literally has to clean out the cabinets, remove all wall hangings, counters, closet, EVERYTHING so renovations can be done. This is ridiculous, These apartments are vacant for 3 weeks at the end of summer before classes start - why would the renovations not be done during that time. This is very stressful for those studying and working. The other complaint I have is that her mailing address is incorrect on her lease and her mail has been delivered to the opposite side of the street which caused more chaos. We have requested compensation and are waiting to hear back.
We have been very disappointed with this apartment. The location is convenient and parking is fine with a monthly parking fee. However, the utilities are outrageous and maintenance is lacking.

Terrible experience since new management took over

This place was a decent college home for my daughter before new management took over. Now, maintenance is needed, they sent men with no identification who will just walk into the apartment without stating that they’re maintenance or calling ahead of time even though you ask them too. Then, they don’t fix the issues and later it is blamed on the recent renovations and that the general contractor needs to take care of it. 4 months of a broken toilet. They’ve also recently switched to keyless entry ...
to all apartments and the app often does not work. We’ve asked for a key fob and even said we’d pay for it and still can’t get one. Meanwhile, my daughter has been locked out of her apartment several times due to the app malfunctioning. Justin the Tony have both been spoken to about this several times and it was even admitted that several people are having this same issue. We’re told there will be resolution or a call back and then we never hear back. There are plenty of better places in Lexington for your student to live.

Horrible office management who will give you the run around about EVERYTHING. privacy gates never work and so much more just stay away. cheap rent is not worth the hassle you receive on MOVE IN day and forward.
