January 31, 2023We went on a tour 2 weeks ago, the office staff were friendly and answered all my questions. The property was very clean and looked new. Also spoke to a few residents and they said they love it here and that the units were bigger than other places in the area and that was one reason they moved here. First time renter
April 29, 2020The office staff is so pleasing and helpful. This was our 1st time to live in an apartment, they made it so easy. The apartment is so roomy and modern. My kitchen is huge plus d true dining space! Everything was spotless when we moved in. I love the view of the pond and fountain. It is so relaxing here. There are so many areas to walk our little pooch. It is an animal friendly neighborhood. Latitude is not your typical apartment. Horrible Management

Avoid it all costs!
July 25, 2016Living in this apartment complex was one of the most expensive and irritating experience I have had as a renter. During my lease, management was changed with the renaming of Latitude @ the Commons. First, the management program would send emails weekly reminding you what not to do and what would happen if you did. Constant reminders of minute things that every renter should know. While at the facilities, management did not speak to you or even say hello. At the end of the lease, we were charged ...over $900 for carpet removal despite the carpet is removed from every apartment when a tenant leaves. The carpet is standard carpet in apartments and is changed by workers in an unmarked blue van. Management does periodic external reviews of your apartment and will charge you if it appears to them that the blinds are broken or if you have things on your patio. I was asked several times throughout my stay if I was a tenant there, whether I was walking into the management office, at the pool, or in the library despite you having to have a key card to get into the pool area and library. The rent is overpriced for the small apartments with cheap flooring and paint, and if you live below someone you will hear everything that the neighbor's do above you whether flushing the toilet, sweeping, walking, or talking.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Terrible
July 5, 2016The office staff made living here an absolute nightmare. They seem very kind and helpful at first, but as soon as you need something outside of the original lease signing they act as if you are on two different sides of an argument. Rather than working together to try to resolve an issue, their goal becomes to "win" and prove a point. As a very low maintenance tenant I find this behavior unacceptable because it wasn't as if we needed a lot from them. Sure the place looks nice, but it's all fake ...building materials that are made to look nicer than they are, as most apartments are. Decent place to rent if buying is not a option
August 23, 2015These apartments offer a clean place to live with a newer feel in a well maintained community. It is also convenient that pets are allowed for a one time deposit instead of having to pay extra every month. Overall this is in a good location that it is close enough to the beach but far enough to avoid the tourist crowds in summer if you wish(about a 15 minute drive). There are also nice wide sidewalks on the entire street for jogging or biking to Market Common which has a grocery store, movie ...theater, book store, Beauty salon, and multiple stores to shop and variety of restaurants to choose from. Across from that there is also a big lake/park/gym/sports fields where many activities are held throughout the year. The down side of living here is that it's a little higher priced then other areas in Myrtle Beach, you have to purchase approx. $200 worth of insurance each year, you'll have to rent or purchase your own washer/dryer, every 3 months the maintenance goes into apartment for routine inspection, and the walls/ceilings are thin enough to hear people outside or upstairs.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

Pool, clubhouse, pet-friendly, with grilling stations, a dog park, and community gatherings and events. July 22, 2015The office staff and the maintenance crew are right on top of things. Never have to call more than once. They respond.immediately. The apartment has high ceilings, crown molding, and.a ceiling fan in all the rooms Plenty.of space for a dinner for 4 or more. The bathrooms are spacious. I have my own laundry room and a screened porch. The location is perfect.to pop out to the grocery store or the mall. Restaurants are numerous and nice. Just a short trip to the beach and far enough.away so ...that the windows aren't covered in salt spray.everyday.
