When we lived in the apartment, whenever we had any problem or wanted help, management never communicated with us on time, ignoring our email and in-person requests. One of our family members had a really bad injury in the mail room and we sent email with pictures of the injury, but it took 5 weeks for them to contact us. because we have OCD. We didn't even put a single nail in the wall. When we moved out, they charged us almost $500 for two very small stains on the wall, one of which is almost invisible. When we called them several times, they told us there were lots of scratches on our wall, which contradicts the pictures they themselves gave to us. We have all the pictures and videos to prove this. At move-out, we requested someone to come in-person at the time of our move-out, but they told us instead to just leave the key in the apartment. If anyone else tries to move out, definitely demand that someone come in-person at the move-out time because otherwise they will cheat and lie a lot in order to get more money out of you.
