May 4, 2025Lived at Leavenworth Haus: 2022–2025 Pros: • The town of Leavenworth is fun, and the surrounding Cascades are spectacular. • The only slightly positive thing I can say about management is they aggressively care about the building's appearance to the point of threatening emails about people who leave their holiday decorations up too long. Cons: • Unhelpful management: My refrigerator stopped working while I was on vacation, leaving it with a permanent rancid odor. While maintenance got the ...fridge technically functional again, management refused to replace it, claiming they "won't replace a functioning unit" — even though it's unusable due to the smell. I lived out of a mini-fridge for the remainder of my lease. Assuming management is sincere, they are "not going to replace a functioning fridge" and it will become the next tenant's problem. Do not sign a lease without thoroughly inspecting your unit. • Billing issues and shady handling of overcharges: Management overcharged me rent each month over the last year. When I caught the error, they refused to immediately refund the hundreds of dollars I was overcharged and instead claim it will be applied it as a credit to my final move-out statement. I will edit the review if/when I receive my deposit. • Predatory rent increases: When my lease expired, management offered a renewal quote significantly more per month than they were advertising for a neighboring identical unit that had been empty for months. Month-to-month leases come with an additional $500/month premium. • Hidden costs: In addition to rent, expect to have $50–$60 monthly added to your monthly invoice for water, trash, and sewer. Pet rent recently jumped to $100/month. Electricity and heating are also separate. In total, your monthly housing costs will likely be at least $200 more than the already high rents. • Poor construction and noise issues: Thin walls and floors mean you'll hear the steps, snores, and music from your neighbors. Electricity/heating costs skyrocket during the winter. Additionally, water pipes have burst in at least one building every winter. Overall, although it has a nice appearance, the construction and management of Leavenworth Haus skews heavily toward the landlord’s profit against tenants’ well-being. Make sure you inspect your unit carefully, be prepared for additional expenses, and don’t assume management will satisfactorily resolve any problems that may arise if it affects their bottom line.Property Manager Responded

Amazing location
August 31, 2022My wife and I have been here a year now and love the complex and the friendly connection we have with the front office - especially with Annie who moved to another Weidner property and Amanda who is now the director.
