Stay Away from this horrible place
March 5, 2023Once you sign that lease the only thing management is concerned about is collecting your rent and do not care about you as a resident. I have had so many issues with this property after only living here for 3 months. The rooms are so run down, many amenities are broken, the landscaping and grounds look horrible, the gates are constantly broken so we have had cars stolen, windows shattered, and things stolen from the yards and balconies. Maintenance is questionable. There is nothing luxurious ...about this apartment. All those good reviews you see on here from a few months ago were all posted on the same day, they are fake! This place is way overpriced for how run down it is. There is nothing luxurious about it, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere as you can get something so much nicer for the same price. They also screw up the rent amounts and fees each month which is super sketchy, I constantly have to bring it up to them because they try and overcharge. I so wish I could rewind time and never have moved to this place, it has been nothing but a headache. PLEASE do your research and stay away from Legacy Heights.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Horrible Management
March 5, 2023I would give this place zero stars, but obviously that isn't an option. Since the day I moved into this place, it has been nothing but an issue. If you have a maintenance issue, don't expect anything to happen anytime soon. You can submit your maintenance request on their portal, but it doesn't receive a response unless you physically walk into the leasing office and ask about it. And even at that point, you may still not get any action taken. All they tell you is that there has been a change in ...maintenance and they're having issues or the truth will come out and they will tell you that they currently don't have a maintenance supervisor. Which honestly shouldn't be the response any resident should receive. I've seen a total of about 2 maintenance workers zipping around in their golf cart, but nothing ever seems to get fixed. There are a multitude of lights out throughout the complex as well as issues with the gates in and out of the complex not working or not working properly, which to me is a definite safety concern. It's great that they allow pets, but there are no consequences for tenants who don't pick up after their pets. I've seen one tenant let their dog on their patio to do it's business, then sweep the poop out into the grass. In what world is this okay? And I'm not talking just a one time poop. Like a weeks worth. I have neighbors that have no respect for anyone else as they decide to slam doors and scream obscenities at each other late in the evening, but apparently this is acceptable as well. One of their main amenities is a BBQ lounge with grilling stations which haven't been operational in the time that I've lived here. And "newly renovated" means they spray painted your apartment and didn't tape anything off in the process. You will find paint overspray on everything, including appliances. Not worth the price
January 15, 2022I have been living in this property for 4 yrs and moved around to diferente units. The roaches ? are real and pest control has come by. I am a neat freak and have all my food in containers but the roaches just continue to come by. There has been a hole in the roof by my balcony for about 2-3 yrs I have sent pictures submitted work orders and nothing - still there My fridge makes rumbling noises at night - submitted a video/work order maintenance came by and said everything is fine. My dish ...washer doesn’t dry so I have not being using it for the past 2-4 yrs. have been hand washing my dishes as i clean them better that this old dishwasher. It took maintenance more than a month to even change my air filter. For all the fees this property has and rental price it is definitely NOT WORTH IT - Also the gate breaks all the time so the property is left unsecured- oh and yeah my vehicle was stolen from the parking lot by the mail boxes - so yes whoever keeps writing that this place is secure - it’s a complete lie I constantly see homeless roaming around trash containersProperty Manager Responded

leasing office doesn't care
June 30, 2019With myself being in the military my whole life and my fiance being a clean freak, a cockroach infestation was the last thing we expected moving into so called "luxury apartments." upon contacting the office who we pay for pest control they let us know the exterminator will be there in 3 days. Not ideal, but i digress. The Friday comes along and the exterminator doesnt show, i took leave for the day and i even contacted the office to see when he would show. got told in the morning, when noon ...hit got told by 4 p.m, after that timeline, the office girl stopped guessing and just said "thats weird." it's now Sunday, the office stopped returning my calls. i expect more for the price of a 1 bedroom apartment that they charge. but the leasing office just got renovated, so that's cool for them.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

June 2, 2019Legacy Heights is an incredible, inclusive and secure place to live in! As a single woman, I feel safe in this community. The staff are welcoming and helpful and my neighbors are great. This is the perfect community for young professionals, families, military, and everyone in between. The location is great because you have easy access to most major highways, places to eat, and grocery stores. Maintenance requests are promptly and correctly taken care of. May 7, 2019Have been here for over a year and have to say I feel at home! The office staff is nice and helpful at any time you go in. Maintenance is always so quick to resolve any problems you have. Have not had an issue with management nor maintenance since living here. They make you feel at home with the events they occasionally have. Property is well maintained along with gym and pool. Apartments are nice and cozy. You never have a parking issue! The area is gated and very well lighted. The ...location is convenient. You have H-E-B, Walmart and Target right down the road. I love it here!
May 2, 2019I really recommend living in theses apartments! The area is always kept so nice and clean, the office staff is very helpful and polite and the maintenance is always so quick with any problem. I have currently been living here for a year and would not want to live anywhere else. It has been amazing and I always recommend to everyone! The rent is not too bad and is quite affordable. The area is gated and very well lighted so it makes you feel safe. These apartments are also in a very convenient ...location in Alamo Hights with H-E-B and Walmart down the road. Internet issue.
May 20, 2018I started having problem with the internet since they did the community wifi service. Every month there's an issue of 3-4days without internet and it sucks if you live here and you really need internet for school or job. I don't think they are making this a priority specially almost the whole community losing wifi service.Property Manager Responded

Not military friendly
June 23, 2016Even with military orders they made me pay through the end of the month and did not try to be amenable to my situation. As a good tenant I would've expected some understanding. Nice, clean apartment with quick maintenance
September 23, 2015For the last 3 months, this has been home. My apartment is well laid out, clean on move-in, and maintenance responded day of move-in to my only concern. The area has been quiet and apartment community is kept clean outside. I feel comfortable taking my dog out in the early hours and late at night. The complex has a refreshing pool, nice dog park, and impressive fitness facility for an apartment. If you are looking for an apartment in the area, I would definitely consider Legacy Heights.Review from Apartments.com
