April 14, 2026Legacy on the Bay was surprisingly very affordable for the Destin area. I am from Alabama and was told multiple times I wouldn't find affordability in Destin, but, I did. Also, staff was really nice and professional. I love the lake I can sit at the pool deck to view and read or go by the basketball court to sit by the lake as well. I love the space of the apartment and the 9ft ceilings. It was also a nice surprise to find a washer and dryer already in the apartment (although knowing that upfront ...would have been helpful). It took me 3 months of touring various apartments and I chose Legacy because of the screened in patios, the 2 lakes, dog park and most importantly, the 20 minute walk to 2 different beaches.Property Manager Responded

August 18, 2025Mold infestation, going to put it on the news to warn others due to multiple chances of trying todo the right thing and just agree to mutually agree to release me of my lease instead I was told mold and mildew poses no threat and AC closet is full of it New AC was even installed on a rotten piece of wood.
