I applied and was approved for a unit here. I was told the unit was not quite ready yet but the lease should be finalized within one week. Once received, I reviewed the lease within 48 hours only to find errors/discrepancies from what I was told during the tour. When I asked for a corrected lease, they said it was correct. After pointing out specific pages, I received an updated lease. Less than 24 hours after receiving the updated lease, I was told that I needed to sign before noon (on a ...
workday) in order to keep the unit. Mind you, when I signed the deposit, I was told I had one week to finalize the lease. In total, I was given about 72 hours, before receiving an email stating if I do not sign by noon the unit would be forfeit. Displeased with the experience, I asked if they would consider returning my deposit. They agreed to mail me a check refunding the deposit, except the check never came. These guys over promise and under deliver. The whole experience felt shady. Be careful here.
