June 7, 2018The place was great for the first couple of months we lived here; a great location right next to the main freeways, grant park, and minutes from Midtown, Inman Park, The Beltline and all of the main attractions in ATL. However, the foundation of the building started to fall apart, which made the parking deck, pool, visitor parking inaccessible. We're currently parking at the church next door– which is quite a walk and a huge inconvenience for both tenants and visitors. The management promised a ...reimbursement for every day the parking deck has been out. The parking deck has been out for over four months (and counting) and they keep promising us with a new deadline every. single. month. On the second month, they failed to fulfill their contractual obligations by proposing (or forcing I should say) new reimbursement terms where they'll only pay us for the first couple of months and give us 15% off our rent for the remaining two months. I'm not sure how they allocated the 15% for the pool, parking, dog park, and fitness center since those are the main amenities and they should equal to at least 45% of the rent's total. They just sent an email extending the timeline to another month (should I be surprised?) so we will not have access to any of the amenities during summer. They still have not paid us for the first two months, and they keep luring new tenants in by false promises and lies. Do not make the mistake of even putting this place on your list. Avoid. Avoid. Beware of Hidden Fees
June 14, 2017I viewed this property with the intention of renting. The property manager was very polite however she lacked total professionalism. She was late for an appointment, and seemed unorganized. At the time of viewing, the elevator was not working yet ( new construction ). That should be understandable. The problem is the Manager tried to discourage me from viewing units on the higher floors because she didn't want to walk up the stairs. Begrudgingly, she complied. The problem I have with this ...place is you have no option other that to participate in a valet trash service at $25 per month. This seems rather silly since there are trash chutes on every floor. The other issue is with the parking. Residents that bring a car will have to pay $20 per month for parking... not so bad. However those that choose not to bring a car will receive $50 off of the advertised rent. When I explained that this amounts to $70.00 per month for parking, the Manager was clueless. She could not process the simple math problem of addition and subtraction. Finally, she told me she would be emailing me an application, which have yet to receive; even after following up with her via email. The enthusiasm that she displayed prior to me visiting the property quickly disappeared when I questioned her on the trash and parking concerns. The building is beautiful, the units are kind of on the small side and the rents in my opinion are too high for an area that is still in transformation and has high crime rates.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
