Roach Infestation
July 16, 2025If I could give zero stars, I would. Living here has been one of the most stressful experiences I’ve ever had, and I feel like people should know what they’re walking into before moving in. When I first moved in, it was clear the apartment was not properly prepared. There were maintenance issues and signs that it hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned or made move-in ready. It was very disappointing to see that level of neglect right from the start. The biggest problem has been a roach and bug issue. ...Despite keeping my apartment clean, I’ve been finding roaches around the bathroom, bedrooms, and in living areas. It’s extremely unsettling and not what I expected when I chose to live here. I even have video proof because I wanted to document what I’ve been dealing with. We received pest treatment once, but when I contacted Janell for another treatment, I was told someone would come by, and they never did. My roach issue has essentially been dismissed, which has been very frustrating and stressful. Update: On July 10th, 2025, pest control finally came to my apartment between 2:49 and 2:55pm. Management still hasn’t responded to the email I sent on July 9th. The pest control technician told me he was instructed by the leasing office to spray my apartment that day. I told him I’ve been seeing all kinds of bugs, especially roaches. He explained that roaches often become immune to the pesticides, which doesn’t really help keep them out. He also said he was not told to come by last week, even though I was told by Janell at the leasing office that I was “scheduled” for July 3. As of today, July 11th, still no one has responded to any of my emails, specifically the email I sent on July 9th about my legal right to terminate my lease. Bottom line: I do not recommend this apartment complex until they properly address the pest issues and ensure that apartments are clean and ready for new tenants. For the price you pay, you deserve to live somewhere comfortable and sanitary, and unfortunately, that hasn’t been my experience here.Property Manager Responded
