NO NO NO
November 13, 2023Save your money and live elsewhere.. even the pictures that they posted are deceiving. Cockroach infested and the leasing office is near impossible to contact. None of the units are actually upgraded, water is constantly being turned off even in the summer, pool was shut down by the health inspector. Need I go on?Property Manager Responded

Belle Grove is a hellhole.
June 6, 2023In about 2010, they raised the rent so high that many elderly residents were forced to move. The ground cover near sidewalks were CRAWLING with fleas, so make sure your fur babies do NOT play in there. The whole place has such potential if they fixed things, but they won’t. Fast forward to when my daughter decided to live there against my advice, things were even worse. The AC cooling in Apt POURED water into the hallway. Every time it rained, there was mud all over the sidewalk, and this is ...important because my daughter uses hand crutches to get around: the mud literally STRANDED her in her apt., and management just didn’t care. This place is a TINY step up from being homeless in San Francisco. PLEASE DO NOT LEASE FROM HERE, or allow your friends or loved ones to sign a lease here. Couch surf…pitch a tent….sleep in your car! All those are better than the slum (right across from Richardson City Hall, no less!) than this tenement slum known as Belle Grove.Property Manager Responded

Terrible manager...absolutely awful
June 14, 2018The manager at Belle Grove apartments is extremely rude and hostile. I would not recommend Belle Grove to anyone unless they don't mind being yelled at and talked down to. I went to discuss an issue with the manager in his office and he raised his voice, would not calm down when I asked him to, and kicked me out of his office. He said "no I won't calm down, you get out and go back to your apartment!" I was in shock as I have lived here many years and never seen anyone as unprofessional as ...this person. He even started making personal comments against me and dragged my profession into our discussion about a maintenance issue; really insulting and ignorant behavior. He was extremely defensive when I asked for his supervisor. I just sat there horrified. I definitely don't every want to speak or have any communication with him of any kind. Beautiful Property and Location
March 23, 2018The grounds and the property look very well maintained, and the staff was super friendly and attentive. I love the amount of space and storage they have, I could convert the one bedroom closet into an office literally its that huge! Don't move here!!!
July 2, 2017So I live in the complex, I have registered my new car with the office, and yet my car continues to be towed. I have had to deal with this once already and it cost me over $300 to get it back, with no remorse or apology. Poor Service
September 9, 2016A tree fell on my daughters jeep while it was parked at the Belle Grove Apartments. The tree was a Bradford Pear (which has a history of splitting and uprooting) planted way to close to the parking spots We left several messages with the management but no response. So, I went by in person to get their insurance info.. The Apartment manager refused to give me their insurance information when I requested it and would not give me her supervisors name or phone number. Absolutely Terrible
June 25, 2016The first red flag is they don't let you see the unit you're buying. The "hardwood floors" are just a bad plastic cover sheet, the carpet is cheap and falls apart, you end up tracking bits of it everywhere you walk. Some of my switches and electrical outlets had no covers and were completely exposed. VERY old building, plenty of peeling paint, rusty pipes, mold, and rotten wood. They charge for the communal water supply, so you pay part of everyone's water bill, despite the fact that I use very ...little water. And the water frequently flucuates between hot and cold with very little control of what comes out. I just started taking cold showers because the hot water is unreliable. They also charge you a fee for pest control, which is laughable, because there were plenty of roaches running around as soon as I moved in, and they persisted throughout my stay. The sliding door to my closet sticks and will not move. ALL (seriously, every single one) knobs on the ALL the cabinets are loose and looks like they were just thrown together. On top of that, where the old knobs used to be is a small hole, very lazily painted over. And when I moved in, my hot water wasn't even connected. I could go on, but I think you get the point. The whole place just presents an atmosphere of laziness. The knobs being loose isn't a big deal. The lack of outlet covers isn't a big deal. My hot water not being connected isn't a big deal. I can fix all of these things myself. But the maintence people didn't. They didn't handle the small things, so how can I expect them to handle the big things? What if a pipe burst?
