Poor Communication

I reached out on a Tuesday to schedule a viewing for a rental here. I didn’t receive any response until Saturday, four full days later. When I called the number they provided, they refused to schedule anything over the phone and insisted on texting. This made no sense to me, especially since I hadn’t heard from them all week and was trying to finally get something scheduled quickly.
They pressured me to come in that same day, even though better communication earlier in the week would’ve made it ...
much easier to plan. On the morning of the showing, I got a confirmation text two hours in advance, which I responded to immediately.
I then drove 45 minutes in the rain to get there. No one showed up to let me in, and I hadn’t been given a door code ahead of time. I had to call the main number just to get into the building. Within 2 minutes of entering, I received a text saying the unit had been leased—literally during my appointment time. Are you kidding me?
Also worth noting:
The gym does not look like the photos.
The lobby bathroom had no toilet paper or paper towels.
There are multiple negative reviews on Reddit about this complex, many citing the same issue I had: lack of communication and maintenance delays.
The garage spots are extremely tight—if you have a larger vehicle, good luck.
This was a total waste of my time and an incredibly frustrating experience. I would strongly caution anyone considering renting here to pay close attention to these red flags.
