Wonderful place to live
March 11, 2021I moved in about 2 and half weeks ago and so far we love it here. The property managers are really nice and helpful! They have a food truck come every Thursday night! Our apartment is very spacious and we feel safe. Very convenient location, close to everything you need. Quiet area. Had to call maintenance about a light switch and they were very prompt and got it fixed right away!Review from Apartments.com
Overall, it was good - not great
June 24, 2020Here I'll try to describe a comprehensive review of my approximately year-long lease at Londontown Apartments. Apartment: I loved the wood floors, the ceiling fan was fantastic, and having the pantry space was nice. However, the stove being not full sized (not all apartments are like this) presented some difficulties when cooking. Also, the thermostat was off it's rocker - I don't think I turned on the heat but once during the winter, and my apartment stayed around 70 degrees. The windows are a ...bit funky, and I found it difficult to open without someone else assisting, so keep that in mind. Overall, a nice space with a few issues. Location: This location is a matter of convenience, it's easy to get downtown and to locations out west, but there isn't much natural beauty around and there is a substantial crime presence in the area. Staff: The office staff in general was fantastic - especially Jenna, I was impressed by their efforts. Maintenance crews were sometimes crude, but overall got the job done. Here's the big kicker as to why this isn't a four star review: the roach infestation. I roughly found one roach a day in my apartment, and they were giant. Staff tried several solutions to fix the roach issue - but it was to no avail. Imagine waking up every morning and playing the game of, "where's the dead/alive roach in this apartment" - not fun. Overall, for the price, this place was good not great. I think you can do better and stretch your dollar further if you go a bit further west of downtown.
