Horrendous Parking System
November 28, 2016The apartments are not bad but the real problem and I I dont want to say but I have to say it that the management DOES NOT CARE about the residents and their visitors in some aspects. They dont have visitors parking and if for any reason your visitors needed to park their car in the society then get ready for that to be towed for sure. This is something their towing company very good at it. Even if you are resident and have a parking sticker they can still tow your car because your sticker is ...flipped due to something(be it storm, wind). Also they can tow your car if the registration stickers are expired as if they are forcing the law upon you. Your big problem starts when you talk to towing company guys. They repeatedly say the same thing like a record player gets jammed in between a song 120 DOLLER CASH OR I will tow. 120 DOLLER CASH OR I will tow. 120 DOLLER CASH OR I will tow. And during that conversation you somehow feel like you are a criminal. The towing company is disrespectful in every possible way. Last weekend I had to go outside from the society and towing vehicle is in between the road so I asked politely to the guy that can you please move the vehicle. He said you to have to wait as they are not going to move the vehicle. Few minor problems 1. Bed bugs 2. Old construction so bath tubs are not good in some apartments. Great apartments for the rent but beware of cars being towed.
November 27, 2016These are an okay cluster of apartments, quite a bit old with an occasional bed bug infestation here and there. But, the real nightmare is the towing company they have tied up with. They will tow your cars if they find that you parking sticker is missing or is not put up in a prominently visible way. The fee structue for having your car released from the towing company is this: 1. Getting it off the hook - $120 2. Towing charges Storage (if it is towed up to their lot) - $145 3. Charges if ...the time is past 12 AM (it is counted as a day if they towed it at 11.50 PM) - $45 The leasing company PMI's representatives response is that the towing company are a third party and there is no control that they have over their actions. Apart from these things, the apartments are okay, not any less than what you would expect from a 60's construction. They have a pool that is in use for the summer. The surroundings are clean and green and reasonably peaceful. There is not a lot of roadside parking space available at a convenient distance if you need to park outside the premises.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Long Meadows Apartment
September 11, 2015After going thru a divorce I needed a place to move into. Long Meadows allowed me to have my animals and be at peace. They made sure my ex-husband never came and hurt me. They were always there to make me fell safe. Whenever anything goes wrong they are there to fix it. They have helped me move furniture, feel safe which is not easy when you always have to watch your back because of your ex. The neighbors have all been really nice and also have helped me alot.
