Love My Home!
May 30, 2025I have been at Lynnewood Gardens for 12 years. The property is well kept. The staff beginning with Leasing to Maintenance and Resident Services are attentive to our concerns. The amenity fee covers many amenities such as the pool, gym, pet spa etc. If you are looking for a nice, homey place to live, close to shopping and schools, this is the place.Review from Apartments.com
Fake reviews
April 19, 2024This place is way overpriced for what you are getting. There is a huge bug problem- specifically lots of house centipedes. there were roaches everywhere and the bathroom toilet keeps clogging no matter how many times the tech comes out to fix. Disgusting Environment
January 26, 2024Moving out was horrible, we left due to bugs, cockroaches primarily. The exterminator said that no activity was found. However, we found dead cockroaches under the couch, cabinets, holes in our food bags like rice and pasta. which were double sealed with ziplocks.Review from Apartments.com

February 24, 2023Avoid Lynnewood Gardens if you can. Cars get broken into very often here because security sucks, rent is ridiculous. There’s barely ever parking in my lot (half the cars there don’t belong to residents). Maintenance team is good but there is much that Lynnewood offers. Overall Positive Experience
December 20, 2022I like that I was able to view my actual apartment that I would be getting as opposed to a model unit. Overall the community is alright. There are a lot of residents. I heard there are a few thousand residents so the community is really big. They have monthly events and a center near the leasing office where the events are held. Also a fitness room, game room, dog park, and basketball court. I haven’t had much problems with my apartment. No roaches or mice, and I’ve been here for over 7 months ...now. The walls are thin, but my neighbors are respectful and quiet so I haven’t had any issues with that. Beware, this community isn’t in the safest side of Elkins Park and borders North Philly. I would try to park on the street if you can as opposed to in the back parking lots as people have been breaking into and stealing cars up here. The back lots have no cameras and are pitch black at night. No lights at all. If you drive a Kia or Hyundai beware…. Besides the recent car break ins, I’ve had a good experience.Property Manager Responded

I Love It Here
December 12, 2022I moved to Lynnewood Gardens six years ago after downsizing from a much larger home in the city. My plan was to settle here briefly, while looking for a smaller home to buy. Well, six years later, I'm still here and enjoying the luxury of having someone else manage all of the maintenance issues and other annoying aspects of owning a home. I've found the complex to be well maintained, safe and comfortable. All of the staff that I've had contact with were professional and accommodating. I love it ...here. Needs Improvement
October 9, 2021I recently moved from NYC and thought this would be an ideal place to rent until I can purchase house but its an eye opener. When you schedule a viewing they show you the really nice apartments that sole purpose is just for viewing. When you get your apartment your expecting the same or something similar total opposite. The apartments come with an electric old stove with short circuit, small kitchen & bathroom. Roach infestation all over and we paying for the health club even if you don't go. ...The laundry on site is another issue machine always broken WITH REPAIRS TAKING FOREVER. For the price they're charging they need to do better. Been living here 6 months I regret ever moving here. My lease expires soon counting the daysProperty Manager Responded

When you visit our Community we have a limited number of model apartments we can show because we normally cannot show the actual apartment because a resident is still living there. Our model apartments are upgrades, and that is discussed at the time of the community tour. We apologize if there was a misunderstanding about that during your tour. We do permit transfers after the first year of residency - if you are interested in doing so, please contact our on-site office to discuss availability and costs. Our Team Members work hard to ensure our entire Community lives up to the standards expected by our valued residents and ourselves. Unfortunately, the entire country is suffering with delays in delivers because of the problems being experienced with our national supply chain. The machines in the Laundry Center are owned by an outside company ...who has been hampered by these delays, however, they are doing their best when it comes to repairs. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may be causing you, however it is out of our(and their) hands. May 13, 2020Finally found a place I can call home with my dog! Lovely people. Nice rooms and kitchen. The whole experience was really good except they didn't have an apartment where I could have my dog at first, but they kept looking and finally found it.
