    Liked it at first. It LOOKS nice, but once you get in, you are hearing FIRE alarms and they are LOUD at inappropriate times/elevators not in service/ and don’t even get me started on the 6 week “Renovation” of the parking structure. They inconvenience residents and you will get NO empathy from the front desk staff. Coffee machine never works. And you have the same residents loitering in lobby all the time. We can’t wait for our house to be finished to leave this place. All of the positive ...

    Let me start by saying the complex is super nice & well maintained. The maintenance staff is also a dream. I moved into a first floor unit about a month ago and it’s been nothing short of pure misery. I’ve lived in many apartments and I’ve never experienced such issues with noise. The floors are paper thin. Expect to hear everything your upstairs neighbor does (and if you’re super lucky like me that includes nonstop heavy-footed walking, dropping weights and rearranging furniture 50x a day.) ...
    Management deems these disturbances I hear all day long normal, even with ample proof. I was told it’s just footsteps I’m hearing (not true in the slightest), I’m sensitive and I can work elsewhere if I’m distracted (when I pay good money to live here and have full use of my unit.) To give more context, my poor dogs are constantly in flight or fight thinking someone is breaking in due to huge thuds. If you work from home or simply enjoy your peace, stay away or only rent from top floor. Such a shame - other than being poorly built, dismissive staff and rude neighbors, it would be an ideal place to call home.

    Moving into Lyric at Norton Commons has been a wonderful experience. The building, amenities, parking, etc is all above and beyond what you would expect from an apartment complex. It feels more like an upscale condo or permanent living environment. But what really sets them apart from others is the staff. They are exceptional and will help you with whatever you need at every turn. Glad I made the decision to come here.
