July 7, 2025I’ve made more than five posts and I’ve all gone taken down. THAT SAYS EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW. HIDING THE TRUTH……… I lived at this property for nearly a year and had multiple serious concerns that never got resolved. First, there were recurring moisture and air quality issues that affected my health and my pet’s. I later discovered improper handling of what appeared to be previous damage hidden behind paint. I documented this with photos and videos. When I reported the issue, ...communication from the office changed drastically. I began receiving notices that seemed targeted and unprovoked — including citations that didn’t reflect the reality of my living conditions. I was also hit with surprise back charges for utilities without proper notice or explanation, despite clear language in my lease requiring prior written disclosure. During my time there, I also witnessed a tragic incident involving a child, which many residents participated in responding to. Since then, safety concerns like nonfunctioning gates and delayed maintenance have only added to the discomfort. Upon moving out, I was charged for cleaning despite leaving the unit spotless. Fees related to my documented accommodation were also never refunded. I’ve since submitted formal complaints to multiple agencies and regulatory bodies. YOU WILL REGRET MOVING IN HERE
February 25, 2024This place shouldn't even get one star. Ever heard the old saying if you put lipstick on a pig its' still a pig - well, that's this place. The people in the office lie to you either straight up or by omission. You will pay $85 a month for cable (what a joke - maybe 5 channels worth anything) and internet (I'll find my own thanks). Dog crap everywhere, noisy neighbors - some guy starts his big truck at 4 am every morning and races the engine Nice. It's all about the money with this place. I ...can assure you I will not be staying here the entirety of the lease - this place SUCKS!!! Run don't walk as far as you can get away from here. All About the Money
January 13, 2024Please do NOT move in here. Staff are your best friend until you sign your lease. Then good luck getting anything. They charge $85 for cable and internet which you have to pay$100 to get connected. I have an emotional support pet and they still made me pay. Property is filthy along with the apartments. Staff is trained to lie and they're good at it. I've been here 3 days an d I'm breaking the lease. Do not rent from any of these p properties. Forfeiting my lease unfortunately
May 14, 2021Since moving in to these apartments, my first impression was, imma like it here for awhile. I lied to myself due to me now living here for only 2 1/2 months and I'm trying to get out of my lease because of my 3rd floor neighbor that lives above me. This woman for some reason decided it was a good idea to move,, workout and fix everything in her bedroom from 1am til 7am. I've informed the office 4 different times now with zero kind of results to resolve this issue. I don't mind normal apartment ...now like if their were kids or whatever goes on in the morning but there is ZERO reason to make that much noise at that time in the day. I rather have my first apartment neighbors back who had a 3 year old and 5 year old. If you have kids you know how much energy and running they do. At this point since the office management feels it's not essential to either move me to another unit or have her be quiet at night I have to know move once again. I moved here from Arizona due to me getting a job opportunity of becoming a firefighter. The hours I work I 100%need every ounce I can get. Unclean and nasty at move in
August 4, 2016Moved here from Atlanta 2 months ago. Looked at complex online AND in person, was impressed with everything. Moved in the apartment it is nasty, unclean and unpainted. Stains and hand prints on surfaces on the walls and doors. Tub had mold around the entire top. Finally got them to agree and come clean it up because I wouldn't move my things in. Promised to paint, didn't happen got a call and apology. New date to paint, still didn't show up. This is not good customer service or management ...if you don't know how your rental units are looking. Already looking for new place to move in 10 mths when lease ends. Also, the pools has been closed twice because of bad behavior and the area across from me has had trash, food, and cans littering it since I moved in no one is cleaning up area. I don't know how the rest is because I live in the front of the complex by mailboxes. Maintenance was very nice and friendly; best point in whole issue.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Do not move here
July 5, 2016I moved here a year ago and have been unhappy ever since. The grounds are dirty, alcohol bottles, dog waste, etc. Loud music is common and the trash is continously outside the compactor. Homeless cats roam the property which is a violation of the housing standard. This past July 4th, some residents and guests vandalized the pool and pool key security system rendering the pool and grills access. Management has banned the use of the pool for everyone, not just the offenders. While the people should ...be punished, this takes away from the compliant tenants. There has been a $62 rent hike from last year which i cannot see the justification. July 29, 2015I recently married and knew beforehand that the apartment that my new family and I chose to call home would have to be something special. Not only did I find that Colonial Grand at Godley Lake was special, it is reasonably priced, has great quality and has an amazing staff. I know the latter because I work as the Leasing Consultant for the property. The best of both worlds.
