Not safe feeling, unfair increase practices.
December 5, 2024This apartment complex states they are luxury but have old and outdated apartments and buildings. There is a constant smell of marijuana, cigarette smoking on balconies, and overall not a very safe feeling location. They have a no breed restriction, which is fine, but so many aggressive breed dogs so you hear many dog fights outside with owners who cannot control their dogs. Cockroaches are an issue here as well as stated in other reviews. One morning I walked out and my neighbor's car was on ...bricks with their wheels stolen. I was in a tough situation requiring me to stay, but they raised my rent 43% forcing me to move out. This is likely due to a formal complaint I placed at the local police department against a police officer who lives at this location. Overall, make your stay very short here and be prepared to have them nickel and dime you on your way out using discriminatory practices.Property Manager Responded

Poor management and a decaying community
November 21, 2023The complex used to be great, but it went downhill when a new property manager took over. Crime in the neighborhood went up, the community/buildings/grounds started to see an increase in decay, garbage piles up in the shed areas, parking is limited and there seem to be more rodents outside and spiders and pests inside units. Many buildings have the front door lock broken, so anyone can walk in. It is a decaying community charging luxury rent.Property Manager Responded

Very nice units, excellent amenities and friendly staff
August 27, 2019We just moved in last month and so far we love it. The staff had to switch us to a different unit when the original one wasn't going to be ready in time, but they made it seamless and worked around my movers to get us in on our desired date. The office staff are the best I have ever worked with, especially Fred, who has actually helped carry heavy packages up the stairs to my unit. Maintenance has had to come out a few times for minor repairs and everyone has been prompt, incredibly friendly ...and helpful. I have lived in many managed communities in this area and, so far, this is the best one, no contest. Rents are a bit higher then similar sized units in the neighborhood, but if you are lucky enough to check the site on the right day, you can find a rent special (that's what we did!). Overall, we are extremely happy here and have zero complaints. BONUS: There is a Krispy Kreme right across the street that is open from 6am - 10pm with a drive through. What else can you ask for? In the neighborhood also: Starbucks, Safeway, tons of banks and electronics stores, Panera, Chipotle, Mamma Lucia (Italian food), etc. There is also a 24 hours CVS down the street, a Home Depot, Nordstrom Rack and some great kids activities (Skyzone, Monster Golf, Baseball Zone). Shady Grove Hospital is also right across the street and has an excellent ER. The main highway (270) can be accessed 2 ways - Route 28 at exit 6 and Shady Grove Road at exit 8. June 7, 2019I have had a great experience living at Post Fallsgrove! I move a lot and they are one of the best communities I have lived in. My move in was seamless, every maintenance concern is resolved quickly, and they accept my frequent package deliveries always with a smile. I would gladly recommend them to anyone looking for a great place to live. Unfortunately I will not be renewing because my rent will be increasing 12.9%, which is out of my budget.
