Get Apartment Away from North Valley Parkway

The property itself is very nice and in a great location. The apartment is very nice as well...however, I unfortunately chose an apartment right next to the Parkway and the noise is incredible. There is a constant steady stream of traffic, and especially big trucks from the construction sites across the road. What makes things worse is that the trucks drive right over a big divot in the highway and they bounce in the air, and when they come down, the bang is so loud and impact on the ground ...
causes my apartment to shake and vibrate. The noise is so bad that I have to wear ear plugs to sleep at night, and some nights the car noises are so loud at 2-3 in the morning I have had to sleep in my bathroom and bath tub. I am very disappointed the property staff did not disclose the street noise to me when I rented the apartment (they could not sow me the apartment I rented until I moved in -the apartment I saw a few weeks before was across the building and shielded from all the noise). If you need to rent an apartment here, do so way into the property and away from the North Valley Parkway.
