November 3, 2022They mandate you use comcast/xfinity, no options. Somehow the even block all television signals. With moving, after my first month here I forgot to pay the rent, $100 late fee. No one does this, not even banks have such an outrageous fee policy. The walls are thin, no biggy. I've been in the military all my life. They charge you an extermination fee, but I have killed two large roaches on the same week. They have a community fee, I suppose that's for access to the fitness facility, among ...other things. But I have noticed that the gate entrance on Hughes Road does not close the last week.Property Manager Responded

I love it here!
July 24, 2022Colonial Grand at Madison is fantastic. The property is well manicured and maintained beautifully. The staff is very helpful and courteous. If there’s ever a maintenance issue, the work orders are quickly resolved. I really feel at home and I love it here!Property Manager Responded

Do not move here.
April 12, 2022It is unsafe, and dirty. The leasing office is not communicative and they will tack on fee after fee without notice. A person was shot right in front of our unit, and there have been multiple burglaries. There is no security, no gate. The units themselves are old and worn down. Appliances are from another decade, literally. There is dog poop and trash all over the grounds. They ignore e-mails for days at a time. I wholeheartedly regret moving here and will actively make sure everyone in my ...community knows this is not the place to live. Don't let the nice front office fool you. There seems to be zero regard for tenant safety and wellbeing in my own experience.Property Manager Responded

Not a great experience
April 2, 2021When you move in your apartment will sell terrible. When you ask if the carpets have been professionally cleaned they will say “yes” even though you will never see a carpet cleaning service in the neighborhood. Your vehicle will be broken into because the “Gated” feature mentioned is a “privacy gate” and not for security. If you set up auto pay on your rent make sure because they will charge you a $100 late fee even if your history of paying rent on time is consistent. Paper thin walls you can ...hear neighbors dogs and any domestic disputes. There are better properties available.Property Manager Responded

May 6, 2019The property grounds are very well kept. It seems like the grass is cut and edged once a week. The shrubs are are tripped each week. However, I think one of the fountain has a broken sprayer and there are three trees that either have shrubs or outgrowths around the bottom. The other trees do not have that, so those outgrowths or whatever they are make the area look messy. There is also a tree that has hanging branches on one side. The tree looks unbalanced and the hanging branches are only a few ...inches from the ground. There are also patches of grass around the ends of the pond. Two have been removed, so maybe the ones left are suppose to be there.
