Terrible
September 1, 2024Terrible experience. Lived here a year and couldn’t wait to move out. They refused to fix the ac units. Had to call a company to look at it. They said it was just out dated units which resulted in my light bill being outrageous. The unit below us had a pipe burst and leaked into multiple units. They didn’t fix any of the water damage. Great community, horrible management
September 6, 2023I lived at these apartments for 14 months. Great property, great location. However, things took a turn when I moved out. Not only did they not send me the final invoice in the alloted time by law (3 days), they also didn't send the final invoice to the forwarding address via USPS First Class mail, nor did they include the signature lines for me to dispute the charges. They also didn't allow me to walk the apartment as required as an option upon move out. After a handful of conversations and ...requests for them to follow GA law, they sent my account to collections. Please be warned as the property manager with 30 yrs experience (Donna) will pretend not to receive emails, etc. but don't let the actual lack of experience scare you away from the actual procedures/law. They will also label things as 'damaged' that are actually normal wear and tear, which is also against the law. You've been warned!Property Manager Responded

Apartment was not up to my expectations.
November 3, 2022The unit was not thoroughly cleaned and painted. Upon moving in there were some minor repairs that should have been done before allowing someone to move in.The washing machine had to be replaced, the dish washer had to be repaired and the garage had a leak. On the positive the complex is clean, quiet and seemingly good neighbors.Property Manager Responded

Look for Non-MAA properties
January 18, 2022Nearly unbearable during the summer due to AC not working and very poor attempts at repair. Difficulty in getting repair people to fix issues. Many stairs and cramped space. Difficult to go outside due to concern for safety. Tour looks nice but they certainly do not show you where you are actually going to live.Property Manager Responded

awful management
July 14, 2020the property management of this place used to be helpful but the past year or so they have been awful. they dont help you with problems and the large company MAA acts like just that, no customer service.Property Manager Responded

June 7, 2019I have been very satisfied with my home in SAO. My neighbors are quiet, respectful and friendly. The community, although about 25+ years old, is kept up very nicely. The floorplans are unique but comfortable and spacious. Parking can be tight on weekends but every apartment has a garage attached. My biggest disappointments are the refusal of some to pick up after their dogs and the fact they allow dangerous breed dogs to live on the property.
