Great Choice
December 27, 2022I really recommend this property! I have been renting a 1 bed and really like it. The floor plan is very spacious. Maintenance is 100% on top of every concern I have had, responding either same day or next day. I have had the occasional cockroach, but maintenance took care of that too. They came out and sprayed same day, and made sure I was on the pest control list for the following two weeks after my report. I specifically worked with Jewel in the leasing office and I could not speak highly ...enough of her. She’s incredibly sweet, knowledgeable, and friendly. She single handedly got me into an apartment when I was moving from Birmingham Alabama to this complex. I can/will recommend this place to anyone I know who needs a place in Spartanburg. They take care of the complex with a landscaping service coming by weekly to maintain the grounds. Love the pet stations all over the complex. I just really cannot say enough good things about this place.Property Manager Responded

Not renting from MAA ever again
September 11, 2021The apartments themselves aren’t worth the amount they want you to pay, they said they sprayed for bugs but I had to get them to come spray again. And then still had an aunt problem by the windows. The neighbors were always ridiculously loud. Especially the upstairs ones, Provided they were given permission by management to be loud until night time…(or so they said), they charge you ridiculously if you have to terminate the lease early. Instead of spending so much time making the outside look ...pretty which it already does they should think about making the apartments worth the money they want from you. I moved in and there were already things damaged obviously not fixed from the last tenant and then they probably just added that to the but load of charges I was charged for leaving. I will say, the Only good thing about this place is the management in the clubhouse are super great and friendly. Always trying to help fix something if they can. That and the maintenance guy was amazing and super fast to fix everything. Besides that I would not rent from MAA again.Property Manager Responded

Bugs
March 18, 2021This apartment I def wouldn’t recommend. They have water bugs that be all outside and all inside the apartment u be embarrassed to have anyone over. Management is horrible they say they have a noise policy and don’t stand by it. They lie about fees and then when you move they try to get close to 10 grand the worst place I’ve ever lived and for the price the inside is run down and needs upgrading badProperty Manager Responded

July 26, 2015My girlfriend and I searched up and down for an apartment we could call our own. Seeing as we were both young and going into our second year of college we were unsure of what to expect. We saw expensive apartments, cheap apartments, out of date apartments and newly renovated! So many questions, do we need a pool? Do we need a grill? Do we need a fitness center? What can we do without!? That's when we came across Park Place. They had everything we wanted at a very affordable price! It was right ...in our budget and we haven't regretted a moment of being here. We haven't seen any bugs in our apartment, never had a problem with noise and overall the community is so welcoming and friendly!The lush greenery makes us feel like we have a little bit of nature in every corner all the while being within 2 miles of any place we could ever want to go. This oasis provides us with a very safe environment as well! Never have I ever had to worry about my girlfriend waking out to the car.. It's great to be in a place I can TRULY call home. The only downside is maintence sometimes took a day or two to fix something that was broke (though there wasn't much to complain about).. But in the end, we wouldn't have chosen anywhere else!
