STAY FAR AWAY FROM HERE!
August 8, 2023Where do I begin. I don't usually review anything but I absolutely must. I have been living here since June of 2017 and they have made living here just miserable for me. I am a VERY positive person and ALWAYS give everyone the benefit of the doubt but they fell short in more ways than I can keep track of. Their mailroom is so unsecure and yet they have done nothing about it since 2020. I have had several things stolen that were delivered to me, and most recently a package from a dear friend who ...went to far lengths and spent alot of money. The people who work here are extremely unethical and inhumane. There was mold in a unit and they did nothing. They avoided the issue and did everything but what was needed to remediate it. Mold can kill you!!! I dealt with it for several months, physically. I even got nose bleeds from my body reacting to the level of toxicity in the air. Also, the water heater leaked open and needed replacing. I was not there when it happened. They replaced it successfully but did not turn out the light when leaving my unit and it remained on for 3 months until my return when I noticed it on. I called them to let them know of this and they gave me such a hard time. I asked that they reimburse me for the excess I paid for this in my electricity bill. Not only did they mention I did not having any evidence that it was in fact left on by the maintenance staff, they gave me a hard time for just $30. The front gate is often open for whatever reason. I have seen 4 trees on the property fall on cars. When I mentioned this to them 4 years ago and strongly suggested they remove all the old trees from the property they chuckled at me to my face. The past 2 years they have raised my rent 11%. This is 3 times the standard yearly rental increases. There are fees for everything. For example, I asked if I could have another key fob since mine is slightly cracked due to normal wear and tear after 6 years of using it which is understandable (it was given to me in 2017 already with signs of wear) and they insist you pay $100 for another one. If you already live here and are added to someone else's lease they charge you another application fee of $85. I could go on and on and on listing a half dozen other MAJOR issues with this apartment community. Why one would choose to live here is beyond my ability to reason. I CANNOT BELIEVE anyone has given even 1 star to this place. I have to put one but it is only so I can put this up for you.Property Manager Responded

Highly Recommend
December 23, 2022I moved here 2 weeks back. I relocated from India and highly appreciate all the support from the leasing office for a hassle free move in right after I landed in Atlanta. This place is super clean and I haven’t had any pest encounters so far. The apartments are spacious and get ample daylight. I raised a maintenance request which was addressed within 48 hours. I’m highly impressed by this community. An FYI for students who do not have their own vehicle: This place is an 8 minute walk from the ...Marta, so might not be as ideal if you have classes in late evenings.Property Manager Responded

Don’t Stay Here
September 2, 2022I have only been here for a month. I have repeatedly been denied access to my apartment because of an issue with their gate and/or my key fob. Then, I just tried to make my first payment not realizing that they have a 3 day verification process where they make a deposit in your account and you can use your bank account before then. I woke up today to the payment being processed. I went to make my payment and they already charged a $100 late payment fee. I went to the office to see about getting ...it waived since I was not aware there was a verification process and was told nothing they could do and I could have paid with a credit/debit card. I was like well you charge a fee for that as well which I wanted to avoid. I’ve never been in an apartment that charged the late fee the very next day. I spoke with the manager who was condescending and told me that I was lying about never having to do a verification and I should check the lease for late fees. So glad that I only have a short term lease here. I look would recommend avoiding this apartment complex.Property Manager Responded

August 19, 2022I was apartment hunting for a while trying to find the perfect place between my work and school, and boy did I find it! MAA Peachtree Hills is the perfect apartment complex for anybody that likes quiet and calm. It is very pretty, clean, safe, and most importantly the staff has been extremely helpful, understanding, and friendly. Both have been very quick to respond if an issue occurs. I would recommend anyone to live here, it is a very friendly place to live with great amenities and very private. June 7, 2019The property is clean and well kept, both inside and out. The process to become a resident here was simple and straight forward. The management team on site has been nothing but professional, friendly and helpful. If there is any criticism at all, it is for the other renters in my building. I do notice that a number of my neighbors are very inconsiderate of others. They run up and down stairs,talking loudly, late at night and early morning. Some will lock their cars remotely, repeatedly, beeping ...over and over again several times, late at night and very early in the morning.
