  • Smells like Weed and Cigarettes

    When we found this home, it was definitely a blessing. However after a year here, we have found it to unfortunately be unhealthy for our family due to it being a nonsmoking environment. This place has a lot of issues that I think family conscious of second hand smoke should pass over. The location is nice, but for what they are charging, you can find newer and more affordable options in the area. I unfortunately cannot recommend this place. Don't get me started on management...

  • Some Oversights Do Not Justify The Rent Expsense

    The move-in process with the front office went very smoothly. All questions, pre-move-in concerns and poste-move-in issues were answered, quickly. The apartment was clean and ready to move into on time. The neighbors have been quiet and polite, thus far. The gym and amenity center are well maintained and clean. The gym actually has some nice equipment. Now, for the unsatisfying parts considering the cost of rent in a luxury apartment. The appliances are functional if a bit basic, but much like ...
    the countertops and cabinetry throughout, they could use some updating. The counters are built with the most basic of materials and tend to stain easily. Otherwise, the kitchen is in working order, but lacking in storage or shelving for pantry accessibility. One upsetting thing if you work or study from home online is the fact that the apartments are lacking in some electronic and electrical updates which were advertised to be present in all the apartments. They need some modern updating in this regard, as well. For example, the apartments are supposed to have "high speed internet access", and that is technically true. Your internet is provided by Spectrum upon move in with an easy self-installation kit. However, there are "outdated" phone line jacks in every room (RJ11 ports) which serve no purpose unless you intend on having a land-line in every single room. There are no high-speed internet ports or RJ45 jacks which should be in every room, instead. The office manager said it was up to Spectrum to come out and install such jacks in the wall for devices which needed to be connected directly to the internet instead of through WIFI. Spectrum on the other hand said that they don't install jacks, and it was up to the apartment to already be wired for that. The solution we had to come up with was to run 50-100 foot expensive ethernet cables from the router to any devices which needed them. Another oversight which is annoying is the fact that the bedrooms have a wall switch which is meant to control an outlet on the wall instead of a normal ceiling light. However, in one of the bedrooms, the intended light switch is not wired up to any single outlet at all, and there is no other light source in the room. I have double-checked every single outlet in the room several times to verify this fact. I have a switch which does absolutely nothing on my wall.

  • Go to a real luxury apartment

    They claim to be luxury but are not- nothing is updated. I will say, they do keep the place clean. It used to be quiet but now I hear partying and fighting almost every night. I can no longer sleep in on weekends because new neighbors let their dog bark all the time. I also have neighbors that get high regularly- which is their business but the smell comes into my apartment. I have complained to management, as the lease states they don’t tolerate drug use but they have yet to do anything about ...

  • LOVE IT

    i just renewed for another year, and i absolutely love it here. the office staff is amazing, the maintenance guys rock and i haven't had one issue. the place is super quiet, neighbors are really friendly. its in an amazing location. i didn't want to move complexes I'm just moving buildings, going from first floor to third floor. everyone is entitled to their own opinion but i haven't had one issue since living for a year.

  • This is clearly the most awful complex in west McKinney.

    Have had nothing but agony since moving here. The complex itself is THE most dated, disgusting place you could imagine. Not to mention, the workmanship inside the units is so bad that it is almost like it would have to have been completed by someone that is totally stupid or is intentionally trying to mess it up. It is unbelievable almost. Granted, the complex is misleading because it is in a good location but please don't be fooled, unless all you are doing is upgrading from a box car or ...
    something. It also attracts a lower end type of tenant base who are noisy and trashy. The office staff are fake and have lied to us and it is maddening. We are stuck in this lease but we are working hard to find a way out of it. What a horrid place in a good location.
