Maintenance dudes are awesome
February 20, 2024Having experienced other slow responding apartments, the team here are top notch. Non-emergency requests are handled within a day or two and it's not just bandaids. If a new item is a better fix, they don't hesitate. The guys are friendly too.Property Manager Responded

DO NOT RENT HERE
October 10, 2022DO NOT RENT HERE!!!! If I could give -5 stars I would.THERES A COCKROACH PROBLEM!! They will not do anything about it when told about it they just responded with oh we sprayed in January. They also do not care about safety. We had several problems with our fire alarm and had put in several work requests and all of them I had to call back days later to see when they were coming out To fix it. One time we had to call the fire department and the fire department informed us that they are BREAKING ...FIRE CODE BY ONLY HAVE ONE FIRE ALARM IN THE HOUSE WHEN THERE SUPPOSED TO BE TWO!!!! When we informed them of this they just brushed it off like it was nothing and they never came back to fix it. Along with that good luck with getting maintenance to come fix something. I’ve put in several work orders for different things and it either took them 6 months to fix or they just never came out. It took them 6 months to fix and replace our dishwasher. I was told it was fix 4 different times that it was fix but it never actually was. Then they ordered a new one and it took over a month to get delievered when I was told it would be in within the week. Also told it would be installed on a certain day and it didn’t get installed for another two days after that. They do not care to communicate with you on important stuff or anything for that matter. They also locked us out of our apartment. There is two locks on the door but the key that was given to us from them doesn’t work on one of the locks and they locked the bottom lock so we could not get into the apartment so we had to go down to the office to get the bottom key to unlock our door and get into our own apartment!!Property Manager Responded

You Don't want to live here
September 9, 2019When we first came to live here the office staff were nice and helpful and a pleasure to talk to. The maintenance was not so great but they tried to get the job done. Then 6-8 weeks later a new management company took over and they let everyone go and brought in all new people. The new people in the office are no longer pleasant, in fact I even dread having to go in there anymore. Maintenance here now completely sucks! Nothing gets done! I had a water leak issue and its been 7 weeks and the ...drywall still isn't repaired, despite my many trips to the office to complain about it. they tell me they will get right on it, take my phone number and say that they will call me as soon as they know something. I have yet to get a call. This is just one issue that hasn't been taken care of. My neighbors around us have even worse issues with the maintenance and everyone we have talked to doesn't like the office staff either and are angered at the horrible maintenance. Had we known it would be like this we would never have moved in. In fact had we been greeted with this office staff we most definitely wouldn't have even considered it!! Living here is no longer a good thing and we can't wait until our lease is up so we can get out of here!Property Manager Responded

Take your money elsewhere!
December 14, 2018These apartments are tiny and dated--if they have any "renovations" they are cosmetic changes and low-end products. We lived at The Maddox for almost three years and it got worse every year. The community feels very unsafe and there are zero security efforts made. We had a leaking (actually gushing water) A/C unit in our hallway for 2 summers and were told that it was normal for Arizona. Were charged for carpet replacement after we moved out, which the carpet was not new when we moved in 3 ...years ago, but the management refuses to respond to our e-mails or phone calls. They say to please reach out to them with any questions, but clearly it's just a formality and not a promise to communicate. September 23, 2015This apartment is peaceful and has a lot of greenery which is refreshing. Everyone is friendly that I have met so far. Any issues are addressed quickly. The staff is professional as well as the maintenance. I would recommend this apartment to friends. I like that they seem to try to keep out the riff raff. Thumbs up.Review from Apartments.com

Renter Beware
July 21, 2015The management at this place acts like they've never managed an apartment complex before. Between the 3 ladies that work here, nobody is on the same page. They've towed our car without any notice to re-pave the parking lot. Any time you try to call or go in to the office they're busy doing who knows what.
