Roach Infested
July 17, 2023After living here for 1 year, they have been slow to repair the apartment front door that was attempted to be broken into. They failed to fix the locking mechanism on the sliding glass door, which my only way to secure it was with a stick preventing it to be opened. The air vents are full of dust and the vents blackened from moisture coming from the AC unit. Mold is prevalent in the apartment due to leaking plumbing. Roaches are abundant even after they've attempted to fog the place. As for ...maintenance requests, you can't rely on the receptionist or the managers to open a ticket even if you share pictures with them. They've taken the easy way out by asking if you made an online request for maintenance. Before you attempt to see the beautiful model apartment, walk through the complex and you'll see how filthy the place is maintained which explains the roach infestation inside the apartments. I'm sure this place was spectacular when it was new in the early 2020's but you'll it's pretty dilapidated since management and maintenance don't make an effort to maintain it. Btw, don't let the gates fool you as well, it's not a gated community as they advertise it to be. They are never closed, which allows anyone onto the property. Finally, don't be fooled by the pretty model as we were. I regret my kid living here and honestly, I wouldn't let my dog live in this place knowing exactly what my kid has gone through.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

Worst manager/assistant manager
September 11, 2018Even the employees notice how awful and unprofessional these women are. I regret signing her so much. Both the assistant manager and manager are come completely different pages and thus give contradicting information to residents. Not only but that the amount they charged me after move in- brand new carpets and wall paint? I lived there for 3 months and somehow i’m to pay the whole entire thing when it clearly wasn’t me. August 9, 2017DO NOT STAY HERE! CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. AMMENITIES ARE NOT UP TO PAR. THEY WILL MAKE PROMISES TO YOU AND NOT UPHOLD THEM. OH AND IF THEY LOSE YOUR RENT, GUESS WHAT. YOU ARE OBLIGATED TO PAY TWICE OR YOU WILL GET KICKED OUT OF THE APARTMENT. EVER SINCE THEY SWITCHED MANAGEMENT IT HAS GONE DOWN HILL EVER SENSE. August 9, 2017Customer service is our top priority and we are always striving to do better. There have been many positive changes since last summer including upgrading the pool area, installing a high end fire pit, exterior painting as well as new windows in select units just to name a few. The gates and electronic access have also been brought up to standard. Madera would never kick anyone out for a misplaced check and tenants would never have to pay twice. All levels of management have an "open door" policy and pride themselves on conflict resolution. Should there be any questions or concerns that have not resolved, please contact the office so we can set up a time to meet to address them as we strive to have 100% satisfaction.
