New manager has ruined a once nice community
September 23, 2025The first year and a half we lived here was great. Then they brought in a new manager. She immediately ruined the place. She took away our assigned parking spaces, claimed we never had them and then when we pointed out our letters to our apartments were on our spaces she immediately sent someone to paint over them. Still argues to this day we never had them. They claim these are smoke free apartments. They moved someone in beside us that smokes and fills our apartment with the smell. She ...says she can't do anything about it and we just have to live with it. She did away with having anything outside your door. No plant, no table for packages, nothing. They threated to throw anything way they found out there. She has been nasty in all her communications. She doesn't want to be bothered enforcing the polices so she simply doesn't. Thats why she did away with our parking and refuses to do anything about the smoking. Our last leaser renewal we found out that they had typed on the lease it was for 13 months which was correct but then put Jan to Jan on the dates in error. We pointed that out and she told us it was our fault and we would have to pay the rent increase a month early. The electric bills here are very high. You can hear the wind through the windows and see daylight around your front door. Turnover here has increased dramatically. Avoid this place until such time as they hire a decent manager to run it.Property Manager Responded

June 17, 2025Living at Madison Hall is terrible. If you have a pet watch out because they will take your money , find a reason for you to get rid of your pet or move in 10 days. If you don’t they will start legal action and eventually sue you, meanwhile keeping the money you already put out. They are not helpful at all and look for reasons to get you to leave. Run away
December 14, 2024Horrible management, they lie to you with sending out nasty emails quoting fire codes. They clip and past documents to support your signed lease. They did away with assigned parking for no reason and now you may not be able to park near your unit when you get home. Throw away property that has been in place for years with no complaints. Oh, and now police coming on property daily and nothing said. Feels very dangerous and afraid to go outside day or night.Review from Apartments.com
Convenience nearby
June 10, 2022The location of the property is very convenient to a lot of amenities. There are grocery stores less than 5 minutes drive away, you can easily get on the highway in less than 10 minutes. There are parks within 15 minutes. The staff is friendly, and work to get your maintenance requests in quickly. Only downside was that the playground was closed for repairs. Understable, given that supplies to make repairs are limited.Property Manager Responded

An amazing place to live
March 25, 2019This place is great! The neighbors are great and there are lots are amenities so you don't even have to leave the complex. There is an on site laundry room, a bbq area and pool for the warmer weather, car wash, and dog park. There is maintenance available for whatever you need, and the office is always warm and welcoming. The location of Madison Hall is extremely convenient. The nearest mall is only 15 minutes away and there is lots of great food only a few minutes from the complex.Review from Apartments.com
A Wonderful Place to Call Home!!!
March 20, 2019When I moved to Madison Hall Apartments two years ago, I was looking for an apartment that was quiet, in a safe neighborhood, and smoke free. Madison Hall checked off all the boxes I had on my “apartment shopping list”. They are located in a quiet residential area that is out away from the hustle and bustle of Winston-Salem, but close enough to town to make running errands a breeze! The apartments are spacious and beautifully decorated, the community is quiet and peaceful, and the best part is ...that they are 100% smoke free apartments! The property manager, Christian, is absolutely wonderful! Whenever I or my children have called or stepped into the office to either pay the rent or put in a maintenance request, she always greets us with a smile and is such a pleasure to talk to. The maintenance staff, Danny, is beyond excellent!! He is always quick to respond to any maintenance requests, and takes the time to explain what the problem is and how he plans to resolve it. He never leaves a mess and if the maintenance request is for something like the AC Unit or water heater, he always checks back in at least twice to ensure that everything is working as it should be. He truly is the best of the best when it comes to maintenance staff!! The past two years living at Madison Hall have been an absolute joy! I have enjoyed getting to know my neighbors and look forward to coming home each day to my beautiful and quite apartment. Many people see the rental price on these apartments and scream “YIKES!” ….. but when you take into account the quality of care that you receive from the management and maintenance staff, the peace and quite that surrounds you, and the comfort in knowing that you are in a safe neighborhood, you simply cannot put a price on that!! If you are looking for an apartment in the Clemmons, NC area, I cannot recommend Madison Hall Apartments enough! You will absolutely LOVE living here!!!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Quiet Place
March 19, 2019We lived here since 2018. We like the pool and the picnic area with the grills. Never had any trouble with anyone. Management is great and maintenance is good. Very low crime area and great schools but still close the practically everything. Even Hanes Mall is less than 15 mins away after they opened up that new road.Review from Apartments.com

Great place to live!
March 16, 2019Staying at Madison Hall apartments has been an extremely satisfying experience. The apartment offers a spacious layout and I would consider it a good value for the price you pay. The best part is the location. The apartments are tucked away in a quite corner of Clemmons and has a friendly neighborhood feel. Additionally, this is my first apartment I’ve rented since becoming married. Both my spouse and I have been blown away with the customer service given by management. It is one thing to want ...a safe area to house you and your loved ones, but to also have a team working to make sure your experience is valued is another huge bonus. The remarkable aspect of living at Madison Hall apartments has been the care given through quick response with apartment repairs, but mostly the care given in the little things—community luncheons to show appreciation for residence at the main office, flyers posted at every apartment door during times of extreme weather advising on best practices, & the welcoming sense to swing by the main office and get to know management.
