Terrible leasing office staff
June 12, 2024If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. Absolutely HORRIBLE leasing office. if you have any complaints or need to get in contact with the leasing office, they never answer the phone. And whenever they rarely do answer the phone, they feed you bull crap excuses to stall you out and buy themselves extra time. I wouldn't live here even if it were the last place on earth to live. My experience so far is great with this place!
March 15, 2024I live here about a month now. This place feels safe and quiet day and night. Front office ladies are helpful not only before moving but also afterwards. Beware: Tried to rent apartment!
December 18, 2019I was told of one price when I tried to rent at that price and special I was told that all 3 apartments were gone. I called to be informed that I could not go by apartments.com because they do not up date their site. They said, apartments.com falsely advertised a special that they were not willing to honor.Property Manager Responded

MOLD
August 14, 2017Lived so far 4 months in apartment, property manager is very rude, does not care about tenants, and always acts as if they're too busy to help. We found mold in ALL FOUR of the closets in our one bedroom one bath apartment.. property manager wanted to act as if it was no big deal... MOLD IS TOXIC AND LIVE. Also kept referring to it as mildew... big difference, anyway, after being told all would be fixed in one week, staying in a hotel (they paid for), we come back and work is still not done. AC ...unit is sitting in the middle of our bedroom floor & painting and plastering still need to be done. Needless to say, we have no choice but to go BACK to a hotel. This is utterly ridiculous. These apartments LOOK nice, but that's about it. If we could rewind, would definitely NOT choose these apartments. I urge anyone and everyone who considers these apartments, DONT DO IT.Property Manager Responded

Wonderful Property
March 14, 2017Don't let the negative reviews posted on this site be misleading. The Madison at Schilling Farms is one of a kind. The floor plans are spectacular and they offer a wide variety of 1,2,&3 BR floor plans to satisfy your needs. The renovations on not only the interior of the apartments but the amenities as well have made a tremendous difference. The new dog park is a great addition to the property, it's nice to not always have to keep your dog restricted to a leash. The sports court was a brilliant ...idea as well, it really gets the children to interact with each other & a little competition never hurt anyone. The fitness center is state of the art, and the exercise equipment they have recently added are awesome! I mean who doesn't like watching cable television as you walk on the treadmill are ride on the bicycle. What a great idea it was to add in the giant sun window, natural sunlight produces vitamin D, and that's what everyone needs during their work out. They replaced all of the washers and dryers in the Laundry center and are even going to be adding a credit/debit card machine soon, how convenient that'll be. The propane grill installed over the summer is fantastic and so easy to use, nothing like relaxing & grilling pool side after a long day at work. They continue to add one thing after another & this property continues to grow for the better. The most recent addition I've noticed is the Gazebo installed by the new playground equipment. It's massive & I look forward to hosting a family get together or a birthday once its fully complete. It even has ceiling fans to keep a nice cool breeze. Also, the bridge they added leading directly to the walk way of the YMCA was a great idea. As I said it's one thing after another & these additions truly impress. I haven't even mentioned the actual renovated apartment's there spectacular, Real Granite Counter tops, Stainless Steel Appliances, Upgraded lighting, & hardware, New Carpet/Laminate, there truly breath taking & well worth the cost for this area! I could go on and on about this wonderful property. I highly recommend to all my friends and family looking for a change, not to mention the $300 Resident Referral Bonus they offer for anyone you send there way can go a long way. Love these apartments
December 14, 2016My hubby and I have lived here about 10 months and we love it here so much we are renewing our lease. The staff is very nice and accommodating, the apartments are a good size and laid out well. Pool is always clean and the landscaping is very well maintained and pretty. Prices are good and they are slowly doing upgrades. They also added a dog park, put in an all new playground and upgraded the gym equipment. Best of all it is very quite! Very family friendly but also does not have children ...running around unattended. Would highly recommend these apartments.Property Manager Responded

Poor maintenance
August 14, 2016Really old and outdated for the price they were really good about fixing issues but as soon as the new management took over it went down hill. There is so much mold on the walls and they never fix it they just paint over it, we had plumbing issues in the bathroom were water was Leaking a month later they came to fix it after we said we would open up the pipes again and let the water flood down. October 10, 2015Tennis court is broken . fence are broken No maintenance of the park People drive rash on the drive way. Breezeway are never cleaned Trash smells all over the place. Property manager is rude and arrogant. Don't live here....Review from Apartments.com
