Pleasantly Surprising.
April 8, 2018I've been renting here for nearly three months. For teachers and military, Magnolia Manor offers further discounts on its reasonable rental rates. The staff is fantastic, with a positive attitude running all the way from Terri, the on-site property manager, to the on-site maintenance crew. They know the area, and are perfectly willing to share their knowledge. With a police sub-station right next door, crime doesn't really exist here. This past Thursday, my water heater malfunctioned. ...Maintenance showed up within 10 minutes of my call and re-lit the pilot (the hot water heaters are behind dead bolts... a smart safety measure). When I got home from work on Friday, the tech who had helped me the night before greeted me with: "just the man I'm looking for." He told me he had checked on my water heater earlier in the day, and he hoped I didn't mind. The pilot had gone out again, and Magnolia Manor replaced the unit with a brand new one Friday afternoon. He warned me that there was air in the pipes, and asked me to simply bleed it by leaving the taps on. Water and sewage is included in the rent, and I truly appreciated the staff taking the extra unexpected step to check on the heater and replace it without my having to ask. I'm very pleasantly surprised by my experience here, and think if you don't need vaulted ceilings and caviar, then you need to give Magnolia Manor a good, hard look.
