I have lived at this apartment community since it opened in August 2023 and have never been late on my rent. Unfortunately, my recent experience with management has completely changed my opinion of this property.
When I attempted to pay my rent, the payment did not process for reasons that are still unclear. I had sufficient funds available in my account and was willing to provide bank statements to verify that the money was there. Despite having a perfect payment history for nearly three years
...and making every effort to resolve the issue, management refused to waive the $190 in late fees.
What makes this especially disappointing is that I have remained a resident through numerous serious incidents at this property. During my time here, there has been a fire in my building, a murder that occurred directly outside my door, and multiple carjackings near my balcony. While these events raised concerns about safety, I chose to stay because of the convenient location and hoped management valued long-term residents.
Instead, when a one-time payment issue occurred despite my strong rental history, there was no flexibility, understanding, or willingness to work with me. That response spoke volumes.
The location is still convenient, but customer service and resident appreciation are clearly lacking. After this experience, I can confidently say that I will not be renewing my lease when it expires.
