Poor Management

Inquired multiple times about available units said they wouldnt be ready until availability date. Once the day would come we would not be able to view unit. Additionally no timetable of when other types of units would be available. Poor management and not very upfront with apartments, seems like they are hiding things you do not want to see until you already sign the lease.

Terrible place

We moved in Mainstreet in Oct 2013 and living in a townhome unit. The place had mainetance issues almost everyweek. I will give a list below. Day one and even now: Gas smell, had mainetnace check on it several time, finally consumers energy came and said something wrong in furnace but the management has done nothing. If they dont act i will be calling the city safety. Water leaks: Numerous, roof leaked, twice soaking my sons room took them one week to fix. another instance where they fixed ...
dishwasher but left water line loose caused leak and drenched the living area. Several times the sinks bottom leak the have used the absolute cheapest material. Toilets: Keeps breaking and leaking. Refrigerator: Leaked fixed and leaked again and fixed. Still the door does not closes properly and they wont change it. Downstair storage and laundry area so cold even with heat vents. Water pipe froze because of poor insulation. Nails from carpet poke feet. Floor in one room creeks like anything. You can hear the next house neighbor opening drawers walls are paper thin. One positive though they clean the snow quickly hoever the worst part is they clean your driveway a around 2 AM waking you up with truck noises. The place is very noisy. Maintenance is quick and responsive however the material used in construction is cheapest quality. For the price they charge they should provide better quality. Location of this place is great though.

Absolutely LOVE living here!!!

Been living here six years, never had and issue with leasing or maintenance. Very quick to respond if I had any issues with anything broken it was fixed quickly! The manager and staff are great, they put on a wonderful Christmas event for all the residents that we just love. The upkeep of the property is perfect! Not sure about these other reviews but I think this place is PERFECT for me and my family!

Awesome place!!

Moved here originally intending to buy a house, but decided against it after initial lease term. Im now going into my 6th year here and couldnt be happier. The complex and grounds are maintained very well and maintenance/leasing staff is very friendly. Its a great location, and is part of one of the top rated school districts in the country. It is just a fantastic place to call home.

Mainstreet Village

I was having difficulties to find proper apartment because newly arrived from abroad, and found some cultural differences. So much worries and anxieties. However, I nestled in Main Steet and found that it ended my worries and anxieties as a foreigner. Staff were so nice and maintenance service was quick as promised. Personally I thank all of them.

Not worth the money!

The cheapest stuff possible in these apartments. If you touch it it breaks. Toilets break, sinks leak, garage is filthy, thin walls, Nicks in wall, cheapest nasty flat white paint, cheap carpet with nails protruding everywhere, washer and dryer do not work good at all, broken bricks outside, cracked linoleum tile in kitchen, slippery cheap tile in bathrooms. List goes on. Stay far away. Location is not worth it.

Love this community

I've lived here at Main Street Village for almost 3 years now and fully intend to renew my lease when it comes up in December.The office staff are always friendly and helpful if I ever have a question or just go to the office for a visit.The few times I've had to call for a maintenance issue the guys were promp and curtious.They took care of the problem fast and have had no issues afterward.I would recommend this property to anybody that's looking in the area,its right in the middle of ...
everything.Theres the mall nereby and any kind of restaurant you can think of.
