Maintenance sucks

They don't fix anything. Literally it's been months. They took a closet door and drawer to fix and never brought them back, the bathroom door is bouta fall off the hinges, the ceiling fan broke, the kitchen sink leaks! They just keep closing out the work orders instead of fixing things!

I have been living here for two years and have seen several different office / maintenance staff come and go, but I do have to say the present and manager are amazing, Dane in the office is fast to help and communicates great, and props to Barry in maintenance, he is professional and goes out of his way to fix anything... always has a positive attitude and a smile. Horrible place

This complex lies and tells you that they will fix your apartments but they never do! The pond and pool look the same and there is trash all over the place! Way too much money for what you get! Save your money and mind go somewhere else ! This place would be great if the company realized what the problem is !

We have not had any reported concerns regarding our trash compactors, but there was some trash left by the pond last month, which was resolved within 24 hours. I have been in this apartment for 5 years now. Every 6 months or so the manager and his/ her team change.
This time, the team is not cooperative at all. I have been struggling with bed bugs for almost 3 months and I have 2 daughters and my wife is pregnant.
They don’t care no matter the circumstances are. I even contacted the senior area director, Mr. Mathew. I did everything they asked me to do. I took all of my stuff out of the apartment, even though it was so hard. However the bed bugs are ...
still exist.
I asked them to do another inspection to confirm the existence of the bed bugs after they did the treatment and it has been 2 weeks now and they still looking for a company ! While I am waiting for their response for the company, I received a letter from them “a notice to quit” because I refused to renew the leas until they solve the bed bug issue. How can this be possible ! And the manager does not respond to her email !

I've lived here for almost a month and it's been great so far. Office staff are very nice and helpful. Apartment grounds are well kept and they are always updating something. Apartments are spacious and beautiful. Location accessible to major highways and freeways and not far from Ford's Dearborn Campus.

this is a very nice place to live the people here are very friendly and the staff are always there when you need them. It is close to the expressways and store and malls it has a pool and a walk trail that is next to the pond that has ducks and geese swimming and basting in the sun.

My wife and I lived at Maple Village of Southgate for approx. 3 years and it was a great place to live. The Apartments and grounds were very well maintained. Jessica at the leasing office was always very friendly and quick to respond to any concerns we had while leasing an apartment with them. We only moved to be closer to family. I will recommend Maple village of Southgate to any family or friend looking to move to that area.
