Quality of Living
March 18, 2020Online most people only take the time to report when something is bad and seldom report when something is actually good. I just want to take the time to report what an outstanding effort this property has made to care for and take care of their residents! The property is being upgraded with new roofs and you can see the efforts that the staff is making to ensure a quality living. The ladies in the office are Classy! They are kind, caring, professional, and organized. Yes the prices are a little ...upscale, but I don't mind paying a little extra for a better quality of living. I don't know what happened before, but as of NOW this is definitely a nice place to live.Property Manager Responded

Biggest mistake of my life
October 16, 2016We moved in March 1, 2016. Since that date it has been a horror story with the upstairs neighbor. I have complained to the management numerous times and nothing has been done to this date. They suggested calling the police to make a noise complaint. Well that only made things worse. I have asked to be moved to another apartment and that is not an option either. My lease is not up for another 5 months and I have to live with stomping and dragging large objects across the floor every single day! ...The only days that I am not woken up by them have been days that I have been away. I have rented from ZRS before and this by far is the worst of their properties. Now about parking. If you are lucky enough to find a spot close to your apartment you are lucky. If you go out after that you basically have to walk half of the dimly lit parking lot to get to your apartment. My quality of life has gone down since moving in. Working on lesser and lesser sleep has also been an issue. The apartment is not bad at all. It is if you have any issues other then maintenance you might as well as just wait until your lease is up and find somewhere else to live. Nice place but deceiving
January 21, 2016There is a problem with theft in the community. Packages are being stolen from the front door's of apartments. Instead of telling us that they will take the packages in the office they tell us it is our problem. Basically no concern with what goes on in the community. Rules are bent about dog breeds also. A pitbull has entered my apartment on one occasion. All in all you pay the amount you pay for rent and expect your needs will be met. Once you sign the lease you are on your own. deposit pirates!
September 17, 2015The management team are a bunch of deposit pirates! Do not expect to get your complete deposit back. I returned my apartment in as perfect condition as possible, and they charged me $200 to replace a cabinet that was located directly above the stove because the fake wood was peeling on the edges. They install the absolute cheapest material, and they expect it to be returned in brand new condition. Every other cabinet was in perfect condition. The Maintenance Manager had inspected my apartment ...before I turned the key and pointed out that the problem I was experiencing was caused by the stove and cooking. Apparently cooking constitutes as excessive wear and tear. The one thing I expected to get charged for was the handle of the freezer that broke off. I asked how much it would cost, and the Maintenance Manager told me it would be cheaper if I purchased it from Sears directly because it would be more expensive if they repaired it. How expensive? $80 more expensive than Sears. I can only imagine how much they rip off tenants that return their apartments with regular wear and tear. The Assistant Property Manager did nothing and gave me no possible solutions, Simply told me they could do nothing about my problem. July 23, 2015Been living here for about 5 years & its got better & better with the upgrades. The apartments have stainless steel appliances ,pool,free air filters, a puppy park , tennis court ,park for children & a new & improved gym ! The location is close to every & anything you can think of , a huge mall , great schools, dining restaurants & health facilities. The location is also very cozy & family friendly. Loyal Tenants
August 31, 2015We have lived here for 6 years and a lot has changed for the better. The rent has gone up, but it goes with the new amenities. They have upgraded the apartments, stainless steel appliancies and tile floor. The location is excellent , the highway is 2 minutes away, the local publix is 5 minutes away and the local schools are less than 10 minutes away. By the way the elementary school is a A school and the middle school went from a D school to a B! There is a mall and local restaurants within 5 ...minutes. We have a swimming pool, kids park and even a dog park. The maintenance men are very friendly and timely. Great Features, Great Location
August 12, 2015We love this apartment and have been here for four years now. The location is great because you can hop on the highway in just a few minutes. You are also close to the mall and grocery. We also like the features of the apartment. First floor has tile, a storage closet and tons of space for a two bedroom. The layout is great with a solarium that kind of acts like a den, it makes the space seem larger. Neighbors are nice, not a bad place to live. July 20, 2015It cost close to a fortune to get move in. Being on the 2nd floor and having a very narrow set of stairs made things an even greater challenge for my wife and I. The apartment itself (a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom number) is spacious...but has a weird layout which makes it really impossible to have a dining room...that and the laundry closet is on the wall besides it. Everything is newish and recently updated...well our apartment anyway. The community seems to be quiet and safe...the people equally as ...so-but not particularly welcoming or friendly. Poor move out experience
July 26, 2013My experience dealing with Mar Lago Village was completely unacceptable. My husband and I moved in with our dog in May 2012 while Mar Lago was under ZRS Management. A man named Louis had taken us through paperwork and we moved in quite quickly. The apartment had recently been renovated and was a great space for us at the time. I can say that the maintenance staff was very friendly, and responded to my calls as soon as they could. That said, the maintenance request ticket system didn't work, so I ...would have to call into the main office every time something broke. The main issue we had with Mar Lago was upon moving out. Behania, a member of the staff, had pointed out a 4 inch x 4 inch stain in the carpet. Though neither of us can confirm that it was a urine stain from our dog, the management company made the decision to replace the carpet in the ENTIRE apartment, including the stairs and 2 bedrooms. I will note that they confirmed that the one stain was all they found. They also chose not to keep the carpet tacks in, charging us an extra $100, when they easily could have saved us the cost. Because it was convenient to them to replace the entire carpet, instead of just the portion that "was ruined", they went ahead and did so without calling us first to investigate. They also claim that our dog had eaten at the carpet on the stairs, when even the maintenance staff can prove that we had a gate at the top of our stairs to prevent our dog from going down. We now have a large bill to pay because of this. The point I am trying to make is that things look great from the beginning with Mar Lago. But the second you move out, please expect another large charge for their convenience. I would recommend finding another place to avoid the headache and unfair demands that my husband and I are experiencing.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
