When I showered, water came up through the floor. The apartment was not cleaned at all before my move in. The cabinets and drawers had sawdust in them from whoever replaced the handles, and there were crumbs and seeds on the counter. The burners on the stove were blackened from previous use. There were nails, staples, and dead insects in the carpets. Parts of the baseboard were not even attached to the wall, and they were just loose on the floor. I never got a mail key. here for a couple of weeks before moving out, and they still charged me rent, a lease-breaking fee, and cleaning fees, despite the fact that I left that place cleaner than it was before. The whole place smelled like mold and cigarettes, and you could hear every conversation, footstep, or toilet flush from the neighbors.
