Depends on your priorities
September 24, 2025I've lived here over 10 years and have always thought the property was well-cared for by a team of caring people. That said, the focus has changed a lot with the times, including COVID effects, so many of the amenities are gone, but replaced by what is more trendy with the times and probably improved for younger residents. (I'm older in age but not in spirit!) Service is more automated via online everything. The personal touch is gone. The property is still well-cared for with safety projects and ...attention to improvements. All in all, I'm still here even with rents having increased but they have everywhere. When I really needed some help, I got it by making myself personable to an employee here and she was personable right back. All in all, still like it here.Property Manager Responded

New Management Rocks!
March 13, 2025My father is a resident here in senior housing and I must say the new management team specifically the ladies at the Resident Services Office are absolutely lovely. We had to resubmit senior housing paperwork and I was out of town at the time and one of the ladies personally sat with my father and made sure he had all the right documents and all the information on the documents he needed. This is so hard to come by outside of assisted living so keep up the good work ladies!Property Manager Responded

This Place Has Gone Downhill
February 7, 2025This place used to be wonderful. When I moved here 4 years ago, I was so happy with everything. But the quality of life and quality of service has deteriorated significantly. For the last 4 months, we've had no access to the pool or jacuzzi in my building. Our beautiful view is now an empty pool and piles of rubble, empty pails and huge garbage bags! It's been one excuse after another; "we ran into plumbing problems," "we didn't know we needed permits." Now they're blaming the fires!! But why do ...we have to look at garbage for $3,000 a month? The customer service is also horrendous. Horrendous! There is a manager that lives in my building and she has a habit of parking her golf cart in a no parking zone in front of the elevator that blocks my car and my neighbor's car. When I mentioned it to her and requested that she stop, she was extremely rude, dismissive and basically told me to buzz off. To my face! My neighbor and I have both written emails and made phone calls to the front office to complain about this. No one has done anything about it and no one cares that an employee is blocking tenant cars in the parking lot! My dishwasher broke 10 days ago. I have made two written maintenance requests and a phone call and I'm still living with a broken dishwasher. When I first moved here maintenance requests were responded to and resolved within 48 hours. They don't even answer the front desk phone half the time because they don't want to hear the complaints that they will do nothing about. This place used to be paradise but now it feels more like a brokedown palace. Take your hard earned money elsewhere. There are much nicer buildings in Marina Del Rey. Management Company doesn't care
April 18, 2023The water stops all the time. Fire alarms go off unplanned and they don't know how to fix them. And they don't give you keys to the stairwells so when the power goes out there's no way to get back in the building. Management tells you they're dealing with problems but never take care of them. They just tell you what you want to hear. The General Manager in particular doesn't care and won't respond to e-mails about these issues.Property Manager Responded

E&S Ring is a terrible management company
April 11, 2023Location is great but the property management company is so deeply incompetent it's not even funny. We go full days without water because of repairs, have to suffer hours of the fire alarms going off because of incompetent contractors they hire, and they raise the rent every chance they get. December 19, 2022The location yes, the management no. They will raise your rent by 7-8% from an already ridiculous amount at the end of your one year lease. The person behind the lease means nothing to them, it’s all about greed. The units are outdated and not even worth close to what the are saying the “market” is. There are much better and newer options in the marina. Go with the places that want to keep good residents not out price them.
