July 14, 2025I don’t even know where to begin! 2 1/2 weeks after I moved in I had to have brain surgery. With complications, it turned into three brain surgeries and left me with a bad left arm. Unable to carry a package upstairs, a neighbor offered to carry it for me. I was so grateful! When I had to return a package to Amazon, I was unable to box it up or tape it closed because of my left arm. Amazon said the driver would do it, but of course, he wouldn’t… but he left a label. Vicki, the Concierge, called ...me to let me know. Understanding my current challenges, she offered to box it so UPS would pick it up. Again, I couldn’t be more grateful. On the day I was discharged from the hospital, I popped into the community event, and everybody was so kind and welcoming despite the stitches across my head. Even my daughter has met so many kind residents when she has come to help me! This community of residents, maintenance, and staff is amazing… The kindness and support I’ve received is humbling! April 3, 2025For the past two years, we have enjoyed living at Mariner Bay. It is conveniently located in Annapolis Towne Centre and the building is kept in immaculate condition because of the excellent staff. The management office and the concierge desk is always helpful, friendly and courteous. So, why 4 stars and not 5? The pet fee policy! I am a Realtor and in every rental transaction I have been involved in, there is a one time fee. Mariner Bay has a monthly pet fee. We have two small dogs and ...have been paying $100/month for 27 months - that's $2,700 for two small dogs! A total rip-off!Property Manager Responded

March 28, 2025The change in ownership created some IT issues but the office here at Mariner Bay was on top of it. I was renewing my lease at this time and the system was getting overhauled but the staff kept me informed during the process. Everything ended up as it should be with slight delay. February 18, 2025On Feb 4 2025 building management notified residents that the building has been sold. Today is Feb 18 2025. Who purchased the building? Why is this informant not made public? The resident portal has been down since February 5. When will it be restored? The fact that the ownership has not been disclosed, the portal is down and the elevator has been out of order many days in the past two weeks cause concern. This combination of factors makes me and other residents uneasy. I look forward ...to learning more about the new ownership and how it will affect resident experience as soon as possible.
