Wanted to rent, caller was unwilling to help me find what I want
July 9, 2024When I answered the phone, the lady seemed that I was a convenience to her work rather than helping me out and being able to move in and rent. I wanted a better understanding of the difference between the apartments because the advertisements were very misleading when it came to differentiating between each room. I would highly advised that you look elsewhere.Property Manager Responded

It’s just okay.
April 3, 2022I’ve lived here for almost three years. When I first moved in, the place was disgusting. I had to clean off a literal inch of dust from each brick on the wall and cabinets in the kitchen. I had also removed HANDFULS of crud and filth from the AC vents. (I probably could’ve filled up a Walmart bag full the filth from opening the floor vents) The floors and walls are also paper thin. I can almost always pinpoint where they’re at in their apartment from the loud creaks in the floor above me in the ...early morning during their routine. Also I might mention the complex is right near a railroad crossing. Though it doesn’t mind me, some might not like a train horn blaring during the day or also 3:00am. Not sure if this has anything to do with the complex, but roofers had come through in 2020 to redo all the roofing on my building, and nails could be found everywhere. I’ve picked up several dozen nails myself just walking to my car, and when doing laundry a few doors down. I’m still picking them up to this day. I’ve seen many neighbors with flat tires and this is sadly the cause. Maintenance is timely when you need something done. They seem to put a lot of money into keeping the area well landscaped and maintained when I think they could put some of that money elsewhere to benefit tenants.Property Manager Responded

DO NOT RENT
November 22, 2021I wish I could put 0 stars for this place. Do not rent from here. When we moved in, the shower wall was taped to the dry wall and there were cracks in the ceiling above the shower. I made a maintenance request immediately. They sent a guy who “looked at it.” they did nothing about it. A few weeks later, it’s leaking water when the upstairs neighbor was taking a bath. I called emergency maintenance, they didn’t come until a few days later. Again looked at it, did nothing. I followed up with an ...email to the office. Never heard anything. To say the least, we moved out. Now they’re trying to take me to collections because I don’t want to pay for breaking my lease early. They didn’t hold up their end, why would I want to pay that. False Advertising Rent
April 24, 2019The rent for this apartment was perfect. Unfortunately there wasn’t anything listed for utilities. Turn out no utilities are included with this apartment . Trash, sewer, water, gas, and recycling are all added on to rent after the fact. No where is this listed on any website for this apartment complex which is a little disturbing. It wasn’t until after I paid the application fee and deposit that they decided to take this on. Seemed a little shady.Review from Apartments.com

August 27, 2018I honestly was speechless. I walk into the leasing office greeted with a warm welcome ,nice handshake. I was told some very clear and great information about the apartment complex and the standards and qualifications that I needed to have in order to get the a apartment. I was giving a nice folder with important information about the different apartments & etc. Then I was showed around these amazing apartments. Nice size, Great condition, very clean. Had a marvelous view of the pool, I mean ...everything was just so outstanding and very clear and just amazing. I am very interested in the apartments I viewed,I will be calling back tomorrow on weekday to setup my appointment so that I can proceed with this amazing opportunity. I fell in love with the area space and view.( BTW very quiet & calm neighborhood, friendly) Look forward to continue progress with Marlborough Trails Apartments.
