June 25, 2025If you value your privacy, time, and being treated with basic respect—avoid Maverick Apartments. My daughter moved in for her first apartment, and it's been a nightmare from day one. Due to a crushed condensation drain caused during construction, a maintenance worker has to enter her unit twice a day, every day to manually empty the AC line. The actual fix involves jackhammering the floor, but management refuses to take action. When we asked about a permanent solution, we were told she signed a ...“new construction addendum,” so she has no recourse—as if signing a lease means agreeing to live in a construction zone with no privacy. The complex even admitted the best fix would involve relocating her to another unit, but when she asked about any kind of compensation for having to take time off work, the response was: “She doesn’t work every day, does she?” This dismissive attitude sums up their approach to tenant concerns.
