About Meadow East Apartments
Meadow East is a warm, inviting, pet-friendly apartment community welcoming residents from all over the world to Potsdam, NY to live in a secluded environment surrounded by lush greenery, while still ensconced in the middle of Potsdam’s main commercial core. Our goal is for our residents to enjoy a happy, active lifestyle conducive to their needs, whether they be students, retirees, or professionals. We have a range of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, some with 16’ high vaulted ceilings, large windows and plenty of natural light in the living rooms. Some apartments come with indoor-outdoor balconies and most first floor apartments have outside patios. Residents pay for electricity and water. Heat, garbage removal, recycling, landscaping and snow removal are all included. Ample off-street parking is also included in the rent. And for the budget conscious, we charge for the apartment, not by the person living there. So having a roommate will lower everyone’s rent. The new management team has already developed a reputation for being friendly, and responsive, and the new on-site maintenance staff is already being praised for their responsiveness and professionalism. Many of our kitchens provide space for a full table and chairs and enough room to cook and move around freely. Our bathrooms are spacious enough to share comfortably. From the beginning, Robin, Bryan and the entire management team have been incredibly responsive and professional. Whether I had a question or a maintenance issue, they always responded quickly—usually within a few hours—and made sure everything was taken care of properly. The community is peaceful, safe, and beautifully maintained. The landscaping is consistently well-kept, shared spaces are ...spotless, and the laundry facilities are always in perfect working order. The neighbors are welcoming, parking is plentiful, and the location is excellent—close to shops, restaurants, and bus station. After two years, I haven’t faced a single issue. Peaceful Living at Meadow East – Highly Recommended!
July 1, 2025I have been living at Meadow East Apartments for a couple of years now, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. The most outstanding feature of this community is the peace, quiet, and tranquility of the open space. It's a perfect environment for anyone looking to live in a calm and relaxing setting. The houses themselves are clean, spacious, and thoughtfully laid out. Several windows overlook a beautiful green open space, making the interior feel bright and connected to nature. It’s ...the ideal setting not only for me but also for my cat, who absolutely loves watching birds and lounging by the windows. The location is incredibly convenient—with Save A Lot, Price Chopper, McDonald’s, Dollar Tree, the UPS Store, a nail salon, Burger King, and an Asian buffet all within walking distance. Having everything nearby has made daily life much easier. The rent is quite reasonable and affordable compared to other neighborhoods in Potsdam, making Meadow East a great value for the comfort it offers. The neighbors here are respectful, cultured, and well-behaved, which adds to the positive atmosphere. The maintenance team is also exceptional—always punctual, patient, and fully committed to their work. As for the landlords, Bryan is cheerful, easy-going, patient, and very well-mannered. His partner, dear Robin, is attentive, responsible, and especially responsive during emergencies, which is truly reassuring. Overall, I feel fortunate to live in such a well-managed, peaceful community. I plan to stay here as long as I am living in Potsdam. A perfect apartment
June 24, 2025Needed to stay in Upstate NY for business for two years and found Meadow East through a contact in Manhattan. It couldn't have been more perfect. I was on the road a lot and having Robin and Bryan look afte4r the place meant I didn't have to worry about anything. the three times I had issues, of which two were on a weekend, they went out of their way to really help and problem solve, even though one of the problems was completely not their fault.I also paid my rent on time every month and left ...the place as clean as I found it, and got my security deposit back, in full, in 2 1/2 weeks. June 23, 2025"We've lived at both Swan Landing and Meadow East Apartments over the past 6 years and have had nothing but positive experiences. We initially started at Meadow East in a spacious 2-bedroom but when our kids moved back we needed much bigger so we moved to Swan Landing. Both locations have felt like home — safe, clean, and very well-managed by Bryan and Robin. Example, because of my online job, I have to be available 24-7, 365 days a year. A few years ago there was an internet problem that had ...nothing to do with the property but because of the frantic critical nature of the problem, I called Bryan at 7am on a Sunday morning with no idea what the problem was or how to fix it. I had my internet back in under 3 hours. I defy anyone to find another property manager who will drop everything at 7am on a Sunday to move heaven and earth to resolve a problem that wasn't even his fault, simply because a customer desperately needs it! That's why when the kids moved back we deliberately chose to move to Swan Landing so we could continue to NOT worry about the problems of owning a home and let Robin and Bryan continue to handle all those stresses for us. Fantastic Backyard!
June 17, 2025Meadow East is the best community in Potsdam for many reasons, units are very spacious, the complex has its own land which acts as our private backyard, there's 24/7 on-site support, parking, laundry in almost every building, clean, and a nice landlord and management team. Good place
March 28, 2025Although I lived in Swan Landing from 2021 to 2023, I am quite confident being positive about Meadow East as well. I absolutely enjoyed living at Swan Landing because of the reliability of maintenance and good neighbors. Obviously a fundamental part of this was the landlord (Bryan). He was always responsive and helpful. He was very hands-on and I saw that he also checked every potential tenant’s criminal history, so everyone felt really safe. He is also honest. I remember receiving a first ...water bill a few months after moving in with some charges coming from the previous tenant. Bryan paid these charges without any issues. I also met Robin and my friends still at Swan tell me she is great. Thus I assume that she is doing as serious and good job at Meadow East as Bryan (and now Robin) always did at Swan Landing. I also had few friends living in Meadow East, and they were enjoying the place. So, no problem completely recommending Swan Landing or Meadow East to anyone who needs an apartment in Potsdam. Just What I Needed
March 21, 2025This apartment was exactly what I needed and a reasonable price. It has all the basics, the grounds are maintained and the management is responds promptly whenever there was an issue (minor maintenance issues).
