    I rarely will ever stoop as low to write a review in the first place, but I do want to give a massive warning to anyone considering these properties. The A/C is terrible during summer time. We had ours turned all the way down throughout the ENTIRE summer and it was still over 90 degrees in the house. That is NOT normal. The staff did nothing to accommodate us or anyone else with this glaring issue. I will say however, outside of that everyone is seemingly friendly. The summer time though is a ...

    New owners out of touch

    The new owners of the complex added additional utilities to the rent. They sprayed my apartment complex for pests, (without letting anyone know they they were going to do it) and then had the residents pay for pest control... The new owners don't seem to know what the residents want nor care. As a resident for a year now. I would no longer recommend this place to anyone looking for an apartment.

    I have been dealing with roaches since February! I’ve been here for two years and this second year has been horrible. I have had 7 exterminators come and they all agree that I keep a clean apartment. The property managers says that it may be someone in a surrounding apartment that has them but they haven’t treated the whole building. If you care about your sanity DO NOT MOVE HERE!

    A few big strengths, many little weaknesses

    I'm not sure whether Meadowrun's few big strengths are enough to make up for the many little weaknesses. Strengths: Large apartment for the price with particularly large kitchen and utility room. Within walking distance to Wright State. Maintenance is fast and effective as long as you place your request in person or over the phone. The leasing agents are friendly and will try to help you with whatever you need. Weaknesses: Old buildings, which means no central heat or air (my electric bill ...
    averaged about $200 over the winter). Lots of bugs, particularly spiders, carpet beetles, and fruit flies. Not much kitchen storage despite the kitchen's impressive size. Exterior doors don't close all the way. Strange cosmetic decisions such as no baseboards or light fixture in living room, occasional gaps between the wall and the floor, and short, wide windows. Pet owners do not pick up after their pets and let their dogs use the bathroom on their balconies. Tenants leave shopping carts and litter (especially cigarette butts) strewn around everywhere. I don't think anyone checks the online maintenance request portal. Though the leasing agents try to be helpful, they will forget about your request about 50% of the time, even if they wrote it down.

    I have lived at Meadow Run Apartments for 4 years and it has recently had a change in office staff. What a great improvement! Vanessa in the office goes above and beyond to help and has a friendly demeanor. She follows through with all maintenance requests to make sure your stay is up to par. Also, the maintenance has been a great improvement.
