Units ok, roaches terrible

I lived at these apartments for the summer of 2020 and in a different unit from Fall of 2022 to Fall of 2024.
Overall, I liked living here. The people are respectful and nice. The property is also pretty clean, and safe, and quiet. The units are affordable. There are issues you'd expect at a large property (rushed paint and carpeting jobs, closet doors that don’t quite close, sticky drawers). The property facilities (I used the laundry, pool, gym) are sufficient and they keep them in mostly ...
good shape.
BUT, there are German cockroaches. They live in the walls (pro tip: baby proofing socket plugs), and I know the property is doing its best to get rid them… but there's a lot. I'd see 5-20 a day in my apartment. They seemed to have nests in the kitchen behind the stove, in the dishwasher, and under the sink. If you decide to live here, be better than I was and ask them to actually seal under the baseboards and countertops, or do your own pest control. I think it does depend on what side of the building you’re on - when I lived on the top floor in one of the inner units (1 bedroom), I saw very few roaches. On the second floor in an outer unit (2 bedroom), it was a true infestation.
There is definitely mold in the air vents. Yellow/orange in the bathrooms and even black. The apartment had a musty smell when I moved in, and it would come back if it’s left empty for more than a few days.
Maintenance is slow. I think they’re understaffed - the first 6 months I lived here they were very responsive and fairly effective (my freezer leaked into the fridge and they tried to fix it like 10 times, and it never stopped. Otherwise they were great every time they came out). But they definitely spend a lot of work hours chopping up perfectly good furniture that people leave by the dumpster (donate it or something!). For instance, our bathroom sink didn’t work for a month. They came by twice for other things and still don’t do it. I called and called and was told they’d “get back to me.”
One last thing: 3 months later and I never got the rest of my deposit back. They charged me a cleaning fee (even though I cleaned it really well - they said so themselves) and a pet carpet cleaning fee, so I only was supposed to get like $40 back. I called for the check and they said it’d be 1 month - but, nothing as of January 2025.
TLDR: it was mostly okay, but there are roaches and mold and maintenance is overwhelmed. You get what you pay for.

Horrible, horrible place. Roaches everywhere, if you live here you’ll learn to live with them because the property will do nothing to help you. There will be roaches in your food and they’ll crawl onto your face while you sleep. There’s garbage and dog manure everywhere. The front desk people must hate their lives, they always have an attitude and are very snarky for no reason at all. The washers and dryers are always not working and the ones that do work, your fellow tenants will leave their ...
laundry in for several hours. It’s actually quite laughable how they take all your deposit and make up reasons to add even more. They’ll even charge for “carpet shampooing for the next tenants” yet when I moved in there was hair everywhere… The 5 star reviews are bots most likely. I know they’ll even write a sweet enough response on how they’re going to “learn from this mistake for their future tenants”, but that’s a bunch of baloney. The roach problem has been here for several years, if you look at the rest of the reviews you will see. They just don’t care. The gate code is the same for everyone, and that’s evident by the fading on the numbers. The side gates have openings on the side for you to move the handle from the other side. Even people that don’t live here can get in. Might as well get rid of any gates It makes me feel like don’t care for my safety. I think the only upside is how pretty the pool is. I have never written a negative review but this place really sucks!!! I pray for the day they finally demolish this whole complex.

Roaches

Lived there 3 years. Appartments had roaches, They treated it periodically , but never got rid of the pests.

I wish I didn't have to spend time writing this review, but I hope it will help many with their future business decision.
Firstly, I would say management has no sense of fair business conduct or respect or standards for their residence. They don't want to loose a business, so they will accept all types of dogs regardless of their size and breed. My innocent domesticated friendly pet (~20lb Cavalier) was viciously attacked by an off-leashed and wild and abused dog. They wouldn't take ...
responsibility for the safety of your environment, and if you choose to leave they will force you to stay with your contract, regardless of your living condition. They also would not provide you with any options to improve your safety, until the end of your lease.
Secondly, when you leave they will come up with the stupidest excuses to take your deposit. Before I left, I shampooed and steam washed my carpet, because I have an infant, they charged me for carpet wash. I found this not only ridiculous, but also offensive. It was clear to me that they knew they can get away with whatever decision they make, and they put the meanest person to make excuses to hold your money!
If you are looking for a peaceful living environment, I recommend you to stay away from this place!

WE live in a three BR two Bath and we love the crown molding around the top and it is big, and when we need work done they come right away. Good Management . Quiet and the outside was just newly painted looks great .
