Beware of mold issues

We had a terrible experience with Melrose Apartments. Shortly after moving in we saw signs of mold, especially in the air conditioning ceiling panel that is located above the shower. Mold also developed on the bedroom wall behind a wall mirror that was hung up. It is a serious problem but the owner would not acknowledge the mold concerns. It was so odd. local mold lab in Denton and the results came back positive for several different kinds of mold spores. We paid for the testing ourselves because we were so worried about the health issues that can occur from mold. We read it was illegal for the owner not to address the mold issues in the apartment building. Needles to say we were so relieved to move away from there. It was a very stressful situation. We are not writing this for any other reason than to try and help others to not go through what we experienced at Melrose apartments. Please be aware.
