The Staff makes it worth it
June 11, 2021The maintenance team is quick and professional; their work is timely and quality. We submitted a maintenance request to have our tub recalked last night, it was completed by close of business today. May 13, 2021Our experience with management since we moved in has been abysmal! The company is obsessed with money and threatening to fine people constantly for whatever nonsense they decide to come up with from one week to the next. They offer an enticing "no deposit required one off moving in fee of $700" which sounds great at first. What it actually means is you give them $700 you never see again and then when you move out eventually they go through your apartment with a fine tooth comb and charge you ...whatever they think sounds right on the day - $10 per nail hole in wall, $180 per damage to door etc. They will demand that you pay within 24 hours despite the fact that if you ever need anything from their grossly incompetent and obnoxious management, you will have to hound them for weeks to get an appropriate response. Building is advertised as pet friendly but they have constantly tried to introduce new rules (not agreed to in anyones lease) to directly contradict that image. Throughout the pandemic, where many people have faced an incredibly tough time with uncertain futures due to job losses and financial insecurity, Meridia have sent out multiple emails of a passive aggressive nature demanding payment of rent. A resident in our building even went missing for weeks and was unfortunately found deceased later on. There was no communication from anyone with regards to that whatsoever, in fact they didn't even put up a missing persons poster at any point. Despite the fact that basically every building and business in the neighborhood had. Disgusting, money hungry, incompetent, useless people and there are a ton of options in Rahway to choose from!!! Think before you move here. We have friends in most other apartment complexes locally and none of them have had the issues we have had. The maintenance team are absolutely amazing and deserve all the praise in the world as they keep that place going! We will miss them all.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

Walking on the wood floors is easy to get used to but when stereo or surround sound speakers are turned up, the sound resonates to the apartment below. December 28, 2017This was an easy move, management team was great. Jessica was extremely helpful and accommodated our schedule and took her time with us. The unit was fresh and felt like home. Cant wait to try the amenities. As to the that other review, I have not experienced anything of that nature. Laundry room and AC in building broken
June 24, 2017This is a brand new apartment complex. When I moved in a few months ago I was under the impression that everything was brand new and up to date. This couldn't be further from the truth! The Laundry room has been "temporarily out of service" since the day I moved in (funny that sign wasn't there when I was given a tour of the building). The hallways are ridiculously hot (in excess of 85F) because the air conditioning is broken! The elevators are unbelievably slow and take very long to open when ...you reach your floor. Parking spaces in the garage are extremely small also. All things considered, this is extremely disappointing considering we are paying competitive rent as the other apartment communities in the area.
