We have lived here for about a year and absolutely love it. We will be signing a renewal lease! The staff is so helpful and they are willing to lend an extra hand when needed, there customer service is exceptional. The property manager, Nikki is outstanding. Our two bed room 2 1/2 bath is very spacious for 3 of us and our neighbors are never noisy. We are so pleased with our apartment complex.

Bad Maintenance and Integrity

Two weeks in, not looking good. I have been lied to by the management staff on several occassions, on everything from maintenance that was performed before we moved in to what our rent would be. Maintenance was supposed to be maximum of 48 hours, were at two weeks on this work order, to remove their washer and dryer we told them we didnt want and they wanted to charge us for (you can buy washers and dryers, nice ones, for less than $45/month). Today our "BRAND NEW" per JD air conditioning went ...
out, forcing us to go buy a window unit until they can repair it. Before they had "Emergency" work orders to get to before ours, we'll see what the turnaround time for this is.
First time in my life I've been told a contractually stipulated military discount is a privelege, and can be revoked at the whim of the management team. Can I revoke their privelege of freedom? How about the privelege of protection from enemies foriegn and domestic? That is a courtesy extended to me for my service, one which I was told other tenants were not recieving, probably because they are not servicemembers.
Management here seems to be content to take your money and then lie to your face with a smile, the manager can not keep her stories straight from one day to the next, and the maintenance team is so far non-existent, although I did see them in the office eating cookies from the new tenants area the other day (also when the manager ensured me the would get to my service request, asked them if they could, and they said they would be right over, 3 days ago).
Two weeks into a nine month lease and already counting the days until I can move out. The only reason you should be looking to move in here is the same reason we did, they have availability.

Water leak repairs

We recently expierinced a leak in our upstairs bathroom. Within a few minutes after calling a maintenence Supervisor showed up and made the repairs, cleaned area and did a great job. He was very professional and friendly. I have lived in other apartments in Midland and it seemed like a bother to get any repairs done, certainly not an issue here.

My husband and I moved our family here a little over a year ago and came across The Meridian Apartments, when we first moved to the property there was a completely different staff here and things were a little rough. Anytime I went into the office it was because I felt that our concerns weren't being heard and the office to didn't care, however, that all changed after about six months of living here when we got a new maintenance and office staff. The staff now are personable and really care about ...
the concerns of the tenants, they truly do go above and beyond to make sure that this is a safe and positive community for us. When we have had work orders Josh and Maribel have always made sure that they were addressed quick we are so grateful for that I most enjoy the hellos and smiles first thing in the mornings from the maintenance team. The time and work that NIKKI, JD and Norma have done in making sure that my family and I are taken care of means so much to us and we are so grateful and appreciative for all that they have done. I have been most impressed with how thoughtful they have been by putting on various events and making this property feel more like a family community than any other property we've ever rented at; I especially loved Halloween parents like my husband and I always struggle with what to do with the kiddos and this year our staff threw the most AMAZING event for our babies. If that wasn't enough they are giving back to those that don't have families present for the holidays and we as a community have the opportunity to help others which is what this season is all about. We couldn't have asked or hand picked a more AMAZING staff if we tried, we love it here and because of them it won't matter how long we're here in Midland,Tx as long as we have them as our staff we won't be renting anywhere else.

These is THE WORST apartment to live in. The staff is lazy and rude. When a major problem arises, and as a tenant have to live with the consequences for days at a time nothing is offered for compensation. Had a few problems awhile back and now my apartment reeks of mildew and just gross!! I'm sure there is black mold forming as more time passes! It's ridiculous. If I had to choose over again I would have gone to another place!

While relocating to Midland for a new job I attempted to rent a Apt with Andrew's Square East which is another property owned by the same company as Meridian. Without going into to much detail the experience was horrible. The staff was rude with the exception of JD. He is a floater employee who works at several different locations. As I was about to give up hope of finding a decent place to meet my start date deadline JD called just to check in and see how my experience was at Andrew's Square. I ...
explained everything and he asked me to come by Meridian. I'm so glad I did!!! Not only was the property and apt far nicer and cleaner but the staff wS awesome. JD and Nikki went above and beyond to get my paperwork taken coffee and had me moving in the next morning. I love it here and highly recommend Meridian apts. The staff here rocks!!!!
