I have nothing but great things to say about Mill Grove. The area is clean, safe, and quiet. The units are reasonably priced and fairly updated. To be honest, their recent excellent service in particular is why we’re so confident about remaining tenants and renewing our lease.
Where Mill Grove shines is their leasing office and maintenance teams. During snow, the sidewalks are salted and cleared immediately. Trash is always taken care of. Lawns cut, appearance maintained. Everything feels clean, ...
professional, and actively maintained.
The leasing office is incredibly friendly. They truly care for the residents and are almost always around to answer questions and offer solutions. When we have problems or questions, they work immediately and offered solutions.
The maintenance here is insanely quick and they are so friendly. Special shoutout to Emmanuel in maintenance - he helped our unit 5 minutes (no exaggeration, literally 5 minutes) after we reported an AC issue. He goes above and beyond and is friendly.

Overpriced, unresponsive maintenance

I’ve lived here for two years and both winters have had horrible property management. They take too long to clear snow from sidewalks, thrown down some salt and call it a day and do almost nothing to the parking lots aside from driving a plow straight down the middle. Appliances are old and will only be replaced after multiple repairs. Rent increases are unreasonable. Do not recommend.

Old, noisy, drafty, in disrepair, fire hazard, no security

Possibly the most lazy management team around, when they aren’t cleaning house and putting in more incompetent staff.
Everything is drafty, no privacy, hear your neighbors using the toilet and gargling daily…things break constantly and never ever repaired.
High crime, no security like any modern managed company should have.
Vandalism, drugs, violent groups of kid’s roaming the complex, etc.
Go elsewhere and save the move out fees to cover their remodeling expenses for the next sucker.

Clean and quiet

I appreciate that they keep the complex very clean and it is typically very quiet and peaceful throughout the day. There is also a trail in the rear of the complex that is nice for walking or biking.

Strange Rules

Though the apartment is well located, but the friendliness shown while signing the lease was not there the very next day. The head of the maintenance staff is so rude. He can put you down to any level. Office staff always has standard reply "everything is from head office"; they can save money by having some automated system. I will not recommend this place to any of my friends.

Money minded people, check the apartment thoroughly for all kind of infestation and damages before moving in even if management says all are checked and good. The worst management ever who charges you for everything, even for damages or infestation that was already present in the apartment. Don't ever believe whatever they say. They charge you double the money for all kind of issues which you are not responsible of. Be careful to rent a property from this apartment.

This is a good community. The maintenance is good. But family with kids have to think twice before moving in. The rules are that kids cannot play in the grass in front of their apartment. They have to play only in the park area. They cannot even ride their bikes in the walk way. Kids don't want to play all the time at the park. I moved from Willowbrook to Mill grove apartments for which i will regret forever. After staying for more than 3 years at Millgrove apartment, what i got from this apartment management was humiliation and a false bill of more than $1500. They have the trap of Sure Bond thing which is a legal binding that you need to pay the fine amount of any price which Millgrove managemnt feels correct. They will infact do the inspection without your presence so that you doesnt even know what goes into the move ...

This mistreatment to a lot of us definitely needs to be taken to broader audience so that people can take their judgement call in choosing their apartment. It will be soon when people start realizing this convenience at Millgrove is coming up with a very huge price tag and the whole credibility thing is just a big hype.

Strange Rules and no insulation

These guys have insane rules and regulations. Their maintenance staff is rude, the walls are razor thin with virtually no insulation, so you will have added cost of climate control in both summers and winters as well as to bear the horrible sound every time your neighbor tries to take a shower.
The amount of money being charged does not resonate well with the condition of apartments. Don't be fooled by the looks of it from outside, it is not worth paying so much money.

This is the perfect building. All areas are very well maintained and all staff incredible helpful. It has a pool, gym and walking trail. It's like having a touch of country in the middle of city. Only con is, they raise rent 5-10% every year.
