Overpriced with cheap quality.

Mailboxes broken into twice now. We have had to pick up mail from the office for weeks now. We have inquired twice on what they are going to do (put up cameras? Fix it with better security?) and we keep being told they are waiting for more bids to find something in budget. So we are still waiting with no answers. Second, every time I do my laundry, I am reminded how screwed over I feel by this complex. We will 10000% not be resigning a lease here. They keep raising the rent while doing ...
absolutely nothing for the tenant. It has had issues multiple times including flooding our hall floor. Maintanance did not clean that up properly and the carpet began to stink. We had to have cleaners come out and rip up the carpet for fans. Shortly after that the washer broke again, and I was told they would replace it. I specifically asked the manager of the office if it would be the same size because we wanted to ensure a smaller one would not be put in (I have a king size blanket that barely fit the average one they had in here). I was told "we wouldn't do that!". The one they replaced it with was the same model and clearly used before bc it had a lot of mold stains under the cup in the middle. Management tried to tell me recently that one was new but those mold stains I tried to clean tell a different story. I was just happy it was the same size, so I spent a while cleaning that to try and get what I could off. Maybe a month later it starts have noise issues and the dryer was burning things. maintenance tells us it needs to be replaced with a new one. I didn't inquire about the size this time since they specifically said they wouldn't put in a smaller unit. Well what do they do....order a rv sized smallest washer I've ever seen that barely fits a couple sheets in one load. So now more loads, more time, more water and more electricity will be used every time I do laundry. It doesn't even dry in one load bc the dryer is just as small so it is impossible to dry a full washer load (2 sheets and 5 pillowcases) in one load. This brand new set is so cheap, the start button on the dryer didn't even work the first time. They had to change out an entire inside piece to get it to work. They refuse to let us put in our own washer and dryer. Management was supposed to inquire higher up about it but has yet to contact me back. This complex appears to just want to squeeze every dollar they can out and will offer you the cheapest living experience they possibly can.

MiLO is beautifully situated in Mountain Park in Lake Oswego, just minutes from downtown LO, and also has beautifully updated interiors and a gorgeous office, clubhouse, and pool. The office staff is friendly and professional. The only unfortunate experience weve had is that no one has shown up to perform repairs that were noted upon move in a month ago.

So far, my experience at MiLO has been the best apartment experience for me. I moved here from a college town where apartments are poorly managed. Here, both Becca and Lauren do their best to respond in a timely manner, and do what they can to help you. Because Milo is small enough, and well laid out, my backyard is very peaceful, and the view is great. Maintenance has been timely and efficient. Quite important to me, the Athletic club is 1 minute away. Covid has enabled my pursuit of gardening, and therein lies my only problem with the property. A local squirrel seems to enjoy climbing into my outdoor planters, and eating the leaves. Guess he has to eat.

I have a one bedroom apartment that has a large bedroom bigger than any of the other complexes I looked at. My apartment has a broad territorial view. Other apartments have views either of forest or broad territorial views. The location in Mountain Park is convenient to Lake Oswego, and all of Portland via I5. Residents have access to the Mountain Park Recreation Center which is less than a block away free classes, pools, free weights, and a variety of exercise equipment. I use the leisure ...
pool, exercise equipment, and free classes. The rec center is superb. I have lived here over a year, and love my apartment. Office staff and maintenance are friendly, and helpful. I looked at a lot of complexes before deciding on Milo. Its been a good choice for me. Also I have a dog, and its easy to take her for walks. There are dog waste bins in several spots, and Mountain Park has an extensive trail system.

Milo is great and the office staff is great to work with . We definitely have a huge garbage issue . Its always all over the grounds and all over the garbage area , it gets spread on our vehicles when it is windy and its hard to walk the dog in that area because she has allergies and there is always trash and food all over . For some reason we have residents that put huge furniture in there too but i am sure that is not in any ones control. thank you
