Love apartment living
June 23, 2025I have lived at Misty Bayou Apartments for almost 2 years. I have always lived in a private house with a spacious private backyard and no one living above me. I had my reservations living in an apartment complex with someone living above me, but I can definitely say that it has not been an issue. The neighbors are all friendly and polite. The staff in the main office are also very friendly and helpful along with a great maintenance team. Anytime I have had an issue in my apartment the ...maintenance staff is very quick to respond and correct any problems. Best renting experience of my life.
March 16, 2025Let's be clear: these apartments are on the older side, so if you're looking for some shiny new luxury setup, look elsewhere. However, if you need that luxury vibe, you deserve the fleecing you'll get these days. I lived at this complex from 2015 to 2023, in 2 separate units. One was a 2br/1ba, one was a 1br/1ba. Rent was always reasonable, repairs were always quick and complete, and every person on their maintenance team isn't just competent. They're genuinely good people that will say hello ...and have a quick chat with you. The office staff is the same. They work with you and have no problems communicating, in addition to also being good people. Other tenants are relaxed and, with the exception of one bad neighbor (not the complex's fault in the slightest), I can't really think of anyone in the whole complex that didn't happily mind their own business and he ready to step up as good neighbors when needed. If I could have just taken this complex with me when I moved, I would have. My second apartment there was the first place I ever viewed as my home, and some 2 years later I still miss that little unit.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

October 11, 2019I moved to Misty Bayou about 3 ½ ago not knowing what to except with apartment living. After living in a large 3-bedroom home with a fenced in yard for 33 years. From day 1 Amy and her staff welcomed me and my fur baby with open arms. My fur baby Chuck is a runner if not fenced in so that was a very big concern for me. They allowed me to put a little 3-foot fence up for Chuck so I wouldn’t have to chain him, which made me happy as well as Chuck. If I have anything go wrong in my apartment, I ...make a call I get it resolve quickly & professionally. They also put out monthly newsletters that are informative along with fun contests, along with family fun activities sponsored by Amy and her team that brings all the residents together. Extremely spacious for a family
September 25, 2019Where do I start?! Our family of 6 lives very comfortably in the 3 bedroom option. Even with 3 beds in one room for our girls they still have so much room to play and organize their toys! That alone speaks volumes. None of us are cramped in the slightest from the day to day or storage wise. The grounds are quiet and the neighbors are so courteous. Maintenance shows up quickly and problems are usually resolved as soon as you call. There are plenty of areas to park which is great for us with our ...large vehicles. Not only is there a fenced in pool, but there is also a tennis court, side walks, and a huge field for children to play, which our children love very much and are thankful for. There are trees throughout the property which gives plenty of shade and make the property feel extra homey. The ladies in the front office are the sweetest and they take the time to personally know each and every resident, which makes you feel very cared for and not just another number. They truly go out of their way to keep everyone comfortable and happy living here. I never imagined living with a large family would be comfortable or enjoyable but after 3 years I can say that Misty Bayou Apartments have blown me out of the water. Wonderful place to call home
October 29, 2017My family and I had a peaceful life here for almost 4 years. We are a family of 5 and rented the 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms apartment. It was very spacious which was definitely comfortable for our large family. The apartments’ outside area had lots of space away from the Apts for our younger kids to enjoy playing outside which kept it peaceful for the other residents. What I appreciated the most, was management. Amy & her team always went beyond expectations to ensure all our needs were met quickly & ...professionally. Newsletters were informative & fun, contests and family fun activities sponsored by Amy & team that brought all the residents together were great for morale!!
