Do not trust them!
June 1, 2021Forget your deposit! They try to make money even when you move out. We were charged for a damage which was outside of the townhouse, for something that we did not do. We lived there for about two years. There were lots of issues with that old house, but whenever we called them they have come with excuses not to fix them. They did not come to inspect the house before we left even when we asked them to. When we moved out, they billed us for a damage to garage door which we did not do and we have no ...idea who did it after we left. November 21, 2020I lived there for a over a decade, in the apartments and one of the townhouses. It was nice, better than most places in Monroeville. Until my cat died. She was evidently keeping the mice away. Mice in the kitchen, mice in the bathroom when you had to use it in the middle of the night, mice in the shower when you pulled the shower curtain back in the morning. They sent in an exterminator and laid sticky traps everywhere - that we constantly stepped on - and which never caught a single mouse ...over the next two months. Finally, when I sat down next to a mouse on the couch, I gave them two months notice while I looked for a new place. I left in the beginning of April paid up thru June 1 and the office said fine but they would keep my security deposit. Okay. In the the fall I was sent to collections for an additional month rent/early termination fee minus my security deposit. I disputed it with the collections company and sent them my mice photos. That collection company stopped collections and dropped it from my credit report. Today I got a notice on my credit report - two years later - it was sent again to a collection company. I was told that the debt was not bought from the other, that means Monroeville Apartments initiated it again, which is the cause of this review.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Pet Friendly
November 8, 2015The staff are nice and accommodating. Quick responses by maintenence to any issue. My dogs love living here. The dog park is a unique amenity that makes living here special. It's quiet and relatively safe. Kind neighbors. The parking is not assigned but people are mostly courteous. The appliances were fairly new and had good features. Landscape well taken care of. One complaint is the flooring. The carpet and vinyl can pull up. Also, my outlets are all upside down. Small complaints for an ...otherwise lovely living situation.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
