Going down hill

I’ve lived here for a while and have always loved the look of the property. The apartments are beautiful and the location is convenient. But lately, the outdoor maintenance has gone completely downhill, and it’s become a serious health and safety issue.
The grass hasn’t been mowed in well over a month. It’s now knee-high in most areas, including the dog park, and completely overrun with ticks. Even with flea and tick prevention, my dogs comes back from walks covered. And if that wasn’t enough, ...
there are now actual snakes coming out of the grass and onto the pavement. I don’t feel safe walking outside or taking my dog out at all.
To make matters worse, this complex has some of the highest rent prices in the area so you’d expect at the very least for the grounds to be maintained. Management switched to a cheaper landscaping company this year, and it shows. After only one visit all season, they claimed in an email that a new company would be starting soon… but we’re still waiting.
It’s incredibly disappointing to see such a beautiful and expensive property be so poorly managed. Residents and pets deserve much better.
